Diabetic wound healing is one of the most popular subjects in the medical field, and it is therefore necessary to develop new materials and active substances which should be more efficient and faster in diabetic wound care. In reseach study were evaluated two newly developed biomaterials (with natural immunomudulators glycoprotein functionalized hyaluronic acid), effectiveness of diabetic wound healing processes in Wistar male rats and detection of acute toxity in ICR male mice. The results in diabetic wound healing showed that starting from the second day of study, comparing with control group, two newly developed biomaterials have been progressive and effective in diabetic wound healing. Natural immunomodulators showed reliable results for acute toxity assessment in mice at high doses, because it caused no inflammatory reaction.
