Portālu "Delfi.lv" un "Kasjauns.lv" lietotāju attieksme pret sievietes ārējo izskatu un tā atspoguļojumu medijos

Abstract

Bakalaura darba “Portālu „Delfi.lv” un „Kasjauns.lv” lietotāju attieksme pret sievietes ārējo izskatu un tā atspoguļojumu medijos” mērķis ir izpētīt šo portālu auditorijas pārstāvju attieksmi pret medijos reprezentēto sievietes izskatu un sabiedrības un sievietes lomas novērtējumu būt noteicējām pār savu izskatu, novērtējot mediju lomu šajā jautājumā. Portālu raksti un auditorija tika izvēlēta, lai noskaidrotu vispārējo interešu portālu lietotāju viedokļus, ņemot vērā šo portālu daudzveidīgo saturu. Empīriskajā pētījumā tiks izmantota fokusgrupas diskusijas un dziļo interviju metode. Pētījumā noskaidrots, ka sievietes ārējā izskata prezentēšanā lielā mērā pakļaujas vispārpieņemtajām normām un mediju spiedienam, kā arī pausts viedoklis, ka Latvijas mediju kvalitāte ārējā izskata reprezentācijas jautājumos ir ļoti zemā līmenī.

The aim of the bachelor thesis "Portal " Delfi.lv "and" Kasjauns.lv " user attitude towards female appearance and its coverage in media" is to explore theportals’ audience representatives’ attitudes towards the media representations of women’s appearance and evaluation of the role of women and the possibility to have control over their appearance, assessing the role of media in this matter as well. The articles and the audience was chosen in order to find out opinions of a general interest portal users, as this portal offers diverse content. Focus group discussions and in-depth interviews are used in the empirical study. The study data show that women in their appearance and self-presentation to a large extent stick to generally accepted norms and conform to media pressure, and argue that Latvian media quality is very low concerning appearance representation issues.
