Super high frequency wave spectrum analysis from the air currently can only be carried out by a helicopter, but it is an expensive method and this work could be done by the drones. The aim was to investigate whether the communication between the spectrum analyzer and the mobile device while using drone’s communication channel, is sufficient, effective and stable in order to receive and process data and could be used for a proper job. The challenge was to create software for a mobile device that would be able to use drone’s software and its connection with the spectrum analyzer, as well as be able to receive, process and display real-time data on the screen, while also allowing the screen to perform other necessary tasks in spectrum analysis for the user. After completing tasks and exploring all results, it was concluded that the devices and the software is able to run fast enough to perform spectrum analysis while using a drone.
