Ģeogrāfisko, agroekoloģisko un sociālekonomisko faktoru ietekme uz zemes lietojumu: Aknīstes novada piemērs

Abstract

Bakalaura darba mērķis ir noskaidrot ģeogrāfisko, agroekoloģisko un sociālekonomisko faktoru ietekmi uz zemes lietošanas veidiem un segumiem Aknīstes novadā. Novads atrodas Sēlijā Latvijas un Lietuvas pierobežā. Pētījumā balstās uz zemes lietošanas veida un seguma apsekošanas rezultātiem 2015. un 2016. gadā, un iedzīvotāju aptaujas rezultātiem 2015. gadā. Faktoru ietekmes noskaidrošanai izmantota multinominālā loģistiskā regresijas analīze. Pētījums parāda, ka zemes pamešanas iemesls dabas apstākļu un cilvēka lēmumu mijiedarbība. Apskatītie ģeogrāfiskie un agroekoloģiskie faktori izskaidroja 21,1% zemes pamešanas gadījumu, pārējo daļu, visticamāk, veido sociālie un sociālekonomiskie faktori. Ja saglabāsies līdzšinējie Eiropas Savienības un valsts atbalsti lauksaimniekiem, visticamāk lielas izmaiņas nākotnē zemes izmantošanā Aknīstes novadā nav sagaidāmas.

The aim of the thesis was to analyse different factors (geographical, agro-ecological and socio-economic) which could affect land use. The study took place at Akniste County, Latvia (located at the boarder of Lithuania). The research is based on land use and land cover data sets, collected in the field works that took place over two summer seasons (2015 and 2016). Besides the land use and land cover data sets surveys of local residents took place in 2015. Multinomial logistic regression was used to calculate the drivers behind the land abandonment. The study results indicated that the reason behind farmland abandonment was due to the interaction between natural conditions and human dimensions, i.e., decision making process. Geographical and agro-ecological factors explained 21,1% of farmland abandonment in the study area, the rest was explained by the socio-economic factors. As identified, the land use in Akniste County are not expected to change in the near future if the financial support from the European Union will stay the same.
