Vecāku loma bērna sporta karjeras veidošanā

Bakalaura darba mērķis ir izpētīt vecāku lomu bērna sporta karjeras veidošanā, noskaidrot vecāku motivāciju un saprast, cik lielā mērā vecāki iesaistās bērna sporta dzīvē. Darbā analizēta motivācijas teorija, gaidu motivēšanas teorija, gaidu vērtību teorija, kā arī izdegšanas teorija. Darba gaitā autore veic tiešsaistes anketēšanu, kurā piedalās 55 respondenti, Latvijas Sporta Deju Federācijas dalībnieku vecāki. Autore secina, ka vecākiem ir nozīmīga loma bērna sporta karjeras veidošanā; vecāki aktīvi iesaistās bērna sporta dzīvē un sniedz visu nepieciešamo finansiālo un emocionālo atbalstu. Vecākiem vienlīdzīgi ir svarīgi gan bērna personīgie panākumi un pašattīstība, gan godalgotās vietas un tituli. Bērna panākumi motivē vecākus iesaistīties un ieguldīt vēl vairāk resursu, kā arī pasargā no priekšlaicīgas izdegšanas. The purpose of the bachelor paper is to explore the parent’s role in child’s sports career development, find out parent’s motivation and understand extent of parent’s participation in child’s sporting life. The author analyzes some motivation theories, the expectation theory of motivation, expectancy-value theory as well as burnout theory. Empirical data were gathered from 55 dancesport athlete parents. Author concludes that parents have important role in child’s sport career development; parents are actively involved in child's sporting life and provide all the necessary financial and emotional support. The child's self-development as well as awards are both equally important for the parents. Satisfaction with the child's success motivates parents to be more involved, to invest more resources as well as protects from premature burnout.
