Personības iezīmju saistība ar attieksmi pret smēķēšanu smēķējošo un nesmēķējošo jauniešu vidū

Abstract

Pētījuma mērķis bija noskaidrot, vai pastāv saistība starp attieksmi pret smēķēšanu un personības iezīmēm smēķējošo un nesmēķējošo jauniešu vidū. Pētījumā tika izmantotas divas aptaujas – Latvijas Personības aptauja (V.Perepjolkina, V.Reņģe, 2013) un Smēķējošo un nesmēķējošo jauniešu attieksme pret smēķēšanu (E.Cara, 2016). Pētījumā piedalījās 74 jaunieši vecumā no 18-27 gadiem, kuri tika dalīti divās grupās – smēķējošie un nesmēķējošie jaunieši. Tika izvirzīti divi pētījuma jautājumi - “Kādas saistības pastāv starp personības iezīmēm un attieksmi pret smēķēšanu?” un “Kādas atšķirības pastāv personības iezīmēs smēķējošiem un nesmēķējošiem jauniešiem?” un tika izvirzīta viena hipotēze - “Smēķējošiem jauniešiem būs pozitīvāka attieksme pret smēķēšanu nekā nesmēķējošiem jauniešiem.”. Kopumā iegūtie rezultāti norāda, ka smēķējošo jauniešu attieksme ir pozitīvāka pret smēķēšanu nekā nesmēķējošo jauniešu attieksme pret smēķēšanu. Nesmēķējošiem jauniešiem ir augstāka pašdisciplīna un čaklums, tie uzrāda lielāku zinātkāri un krietnumu, kamēr smēķējošiem jauniešiem raksturīga lielāka tolerance un avantūrisms. Pozitīvāka attieksme pret smēķēšanu saistās ar augstāku toleranci un zemāku zinātkāri, akurātību, pašdisciplīnu, čaklumu un krietnumu.

The objective of the research was to determine whether there is a correlation between attitude towards smoking and personality traits among smoking and non-smoking youth. Two surveys were used in the research – Latvian Personality survey (V.Perepjolkina, V.Reņģe, 2013) and Smoking and non-smoking youth’s attitude towards smoking (E.Cara, 2016). A total of 74 young people between the ages of 18-27, divided into two groups – smoking and non-smoking youth, participated in the research. Two research questions were posed – “What correlations exist between personality traits and attitude towards smoking?” and “What differences exist in personality traits of smoking and non-smoking youth?”, as well as one hypothesis – “Smoking youth will have a more positive attitude towards smoking than non-smoking youth”. Overall, the results indicate that the attitude towards smoking of the smoking youth is more positive than the attitude towards smoking of the non-smoking youth, non-smoking youth have higher self-discipline and diligence, they indicate greater inquisitiveness and probity, in contrast, the smoking youth indicate higher tolerance and adventurism. A more positive attitude towards smoking indicates a higher level of tolerance, and a lower level of inquisitiveness, accuracy, self-discipline, diligence and probity.
