Pēcdzemdību depresijas un vecāku kompetences izjūtas sievietēm saistība ar viņu māšu pēcdzemdību pieredzi

Abstract

Bakalaura darba mērķis bija veikt teorētisko un empīrisko izpēti par pēcdzemdību depresiju starppaaudzēs un vecāku kompetences izjūtu. Veicot teorētisko izpēti, tika pārskatīti raksti zinātniskajos žurnālos par attiecīgo tēmu, kā arī izmantota zinātniskā literatūra. Pētījumā piedalījās 452 respondentes, 17-42 gadus vecu sieviešu grupā ar vidējo vecumu: 28.2 gadi, kurām pēdējo divu gadu laikā bijušas dzemdības. Tika aizpildīta Edinburgas pēcdzmedību depresijas aptauja (Edinburg Postnatal Depression Scale, /EPDS/; Cox, Holden, Sagovsky, 1987), Latvijā adaptējusi Liene Čerņaka, 2010. gadā, un Vecāku kompetences izjūtas aptauju (The Parenting Sense of Competence Scale, Johnston & Mash, 1989), ko Latvijā adaptējušas I. Skreitule – Pikše , S.Sebre, 2008. gadā. Tika atbildēts uz darba autores izveidotajiem jautājumiem, kuri ļāva gūt priekšstatu par viņu māšu un citu ģimenes locekļu depresijas vēsturi. Ievākto datu analīze apstiprināja, ka pastāv statistiski nozīmīga saistība starp pēcdzemdību depresiju un vecāku kompetences izjūtu. Kā arī tika noskaidrots, ka starp pēcdzemdību depresiju starppaaudzēs un vecāku kompetences izjūtu sieviešu populācijā pastāv statistiski nozīmīgas atšķirības. The aim of this research was to do both theoretical and empirical study of intergeneration transmission of postpartum depression and parental sense of competence. In order to the theoretical research articles about this topic in many scientific journals were overlooked, as well as scientific literature. Empirical research was conducted within a group of 452 women at the age from 17 to 42 years, with average age of 28.2 years, who has given birth in the last two years. Participants filled Edinburg Postnatal Depression Scale, /EPDS/, (Cox, Holden, Sagovsky, 1987) adapted in Latvian by Liene Cernaka in 2010 and The Parenting Sense of Competence Scale (Johnston & Mash, 1989) adapted in Latvia by I. Skreitule – Pikse, S.Sebre in 2008. To get an idea about the history of their mothers postpartum depression and other family members depression, answers were given to questions asked by the author. The analysis of conducted data showed that there is significant correlation between postpartum depression and parental sense of competence. Also it was established that there are significant differences between intergeneration transmission of postpartum depression and parental sense of competence.
