Uztvertās vecāku iesaistīšanās bērnu izglītībā, problemātiskas interneta lietošanas un lasīšanas ātruma savstarpējās saistības pusaudžiem.

Abstract

Pētījuma mērķis bija izpētīt uztvero vecāku iesaistīšanos bērna izglītībā, problemātisku interneta lietošanas un lasīšanas ātruma saistības pusaudžiem. Pētījumā piedalījās 150 respondenti-pusaudži (M=11,4;SD=0.86).Tika izmantotas aptaujas- Uztvertā vecāku iesaistīšanās mērīšanas skala -Parental Support for Learning Scale,(Rogers et al., 2013), Interneta atkarības skala -Internet Addiction Scale -IAS,(Nichols&Nicki,2004), Aptauja par interneta lietošanas paradumiem (Miltuze, Bite & Sebre, 2012) un lasīšanas raituma subtests (Rašcevska, Paegle & Mencis, 2010). Pētījuma rezultāti rāda, ka nepastāv statistiski nozīmīgas saistības starp uztverto vecāku iesaistīšanos bērnu izglītībā, problemātisku interneta lietošanu un lasīšanas ātrumu pusaudžiem, savukārt lasīšanas ātrumu pusaudžiem prognozē vecāku līdzdalība un atbalsts bērna izglītībā.

The aim of the Master`s study is to research the perceived parent involvement in the child`s learning, relationship between problematic internet use and reading fluency among adolescents. The author the of the paper has surveyed 150 adolescents at the age of 10-13 (M=11,4; SD=0,86). The scales used in the survey are: Parental Support for Learning Scale; (Rogers et al, 2013, Internet Addiction Scale (IAS), (Nichols& Nicki,2004), The survey about the internet use and habits. (Miltuze, Bite & Sebre,2012) and Reading Fluency Test (LMST-I- reading subtest) by Rashchevska, Paegle & Mencis). The results of the research show that there is no statistically significant relationship between perceived parent involvement in children’s learning, problematic internet use and reading fluency among adolescents. The predicting factors for the reading fluency among adolescents are parental involvement and support to the child’s education.
