Abstract

Maģistra darba nosaukums ir “Super User” loma kā rīks Procesu vadības brieduma attīstībai – Pētījums uzņēmumā ‘Cabot Latvia’”. The title of the Master Thesis is „The “Super User” role as a tool to progress in maturity in Business Process Management – a Study Case of Cabot Latvia”. Darba mērķis ir noteikt, kā atšķiras uzņēmuma «Cabot Latvia» briedums Procesu vadībā novērtētās nodaļās. Darbs nosaka, vai Super User darbs pozitīvi ietekmē nodaļas izaugsmi Procesu vadības briedumā – un tādējādi veicinot to arī visā uznēmumā. Pētījuma objekts ir SIA “Cabot Latvia” un pētījums mēra procesu vadības briedumu atsevišķās nodaļās, identificējot, kas rada dažādu ietekmi uz procesiem. Pētījums iesaka, ko SIA “Cabot Latvia” var ieviest, lai kompensētu trūkumus, kas sekmētu uzņēmuma iespējas pastāvīgi augt Procesu vadības briedumā. Pirmajā nodaļā ir teorijas pamati par Biznesa procesu vadību, Biznesa procesu biroja lomu un dažādiem Procesu vadības brieduma aspektiem. Otrā nodaļa apraksta pētīto uzņēmumu. Treša nodaļa ietver pētījuma metodoloģiju, rezultātus un novērojumus. Trešajai nodaļai seko secinājumi un ierosinājumi. Kā informācijas avoti tiek izmantoti uzņēmuma iekšējās procedūras un apmācību materiāli, atskaites- kuras gatavoja pazīstamas organizācijas saistītas ar Procesu un Zināšanu vadību, zinātniskās publikācijas un autora darbi. Darbs ietver 84 lappuses, 4 tabulas, 3 diagrammas un 12 attēlus, un sastāv no ievada, trim nodaļām, secinājumiem un ierosinājumiem. The title of the Master Thesis is „The “Super User” role as a tool to progress in Maturity in Business Process Management – a Study Case of Cabot Latvia”. This study aims to identify in detail what differs in Maturity in Business Process Management (BPM) in the many departments of the studied company. It identifies if the existence of a Super User in each department has a positive impact in the growth in Maturity in BPM of the various departments, and therefore of the company. The object of study is Cabot Latvia, and the study measures the Maturity in BPM in some of its departments, identifying the causes for the difference in attitude towards processes, and suggesting what could be done in the many departments in order to make up for these deficiencies, leading Cabot Latvia to grow in Maturity in BPM in a consistent way. The first chapter provides theoretical fundaments about Business Process Management, the role of the Business Process office, and the main aspects of Maturity in BPM. The second chapter describes the company under analysis. The third chapter describes the methodology of the research made, and the results and observations of the analysis. The third chapter is followed by Conclusion and Recommendations. Information sources included the Company’s internal procedures and training materials, reports issued by known organizations related to Business Process Management and Knowledge Management, scientific publications and author's own works. The paper has 84 pages, 4 tables, 3 charts, and 12 pictures, and consists of an introduction, three chapters, conclusion, and recommendation.
