The European Union is a multinational environment, where together are living different ethnic races ANO entities. Discrimination based on ethnicity and race is an acute problem throughout the European Union, taking into account today's situation and the society stereotypes. Often the majority of different ethnic or racial representatives are placed at a disadvantage in different aspects of life, which is widely discussed in the media, society and politics. The work aim is to analyze and understand how the formation concept of race and ethnicity is made, as well as the manner in which the aforementioned two concepts are linked to other non-discrimination features. In work results, it was concluded that race and ethnicity should be combined into a single category without distinguishing their differences, and it was found that the two concepts inevitably intersect with other characteristics of non-discrimination, creating unfavourable, unequal treatment of certain ethnic or racial origin persons. Keywords: ethnicity, race, discrimination, prohibition signs of relationship, multiculturalism, inequality.
