Bachelors’ thesis topic – „ Hospital care for patients with dysphagia.” Thesis goal - to discover the type of treatment patients with dysphagia receive in hospitals. The tasks of the research – gather and analyse theoretical literature about the care that dysphagia’s patients receive; construct the research instrument- interview; using the qualitative research methods, conduct interviews; gather and analyse the received data; make conclusions; propose recommendations. The question of the research – What type of treatment do patients with dysphagia receive? This topic is relevant because, to avoid further complications, it is important to recognize swallowing problems in time, before any kind of medical care, feeding or the use of oral medicine has begun. An answered question provides information about the type of treatment patients with dysphagia receive in hospitals. The most important part of the whole treatment process is the promptly detection of the illness, that prevents the risk of further complications, due to delayed treatment for swallowing problems.
