Jauniešu politiskā socializācija Latvijā

Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma ir „Jauniešu politiskā socializācija Latvijā”. Darba mērķis ir izprast socializācijas procesu, liekot akcentu uz politisko socializāciju, pielietojot ārzemju zinātnieku pieredzi un izmantojot jau veiktus pētījumus. Pētījumā raksturota Latvijas jauniešu interese par politiskajiem notikumiem un līdzdalību, pamatojoties uz veikto kvantitatīvu pētījumu - jauniešu aptauju, vecumā no 15 līdz 24 gadiem. Ar to palīdzību analizēt jauniešu politiskās socializācijas mehānismu, uzzināt pēc kādiem kritērijiem tie vadās izvēloties politiskās idejas, informāciju, vērtības un uzvedību, un izmantot iegūtas zināšanas, lai attīstītu politiskās socializācijas procesu Latvijā. Politiskas kultūras audzināšanas un līdzdalības sekmēšanai Latvijas valstī, jo mūsdienu jaunieši ir mūsu valsts nākotne.

The topic of the Bachelor paper is „Political Socialization of Youth in Latvia”. The aim of this work is to understand the process of socialization, putting the emphasis on the political socialization by using the international socialization research experience. This study describes the level of political interest and knowledge of young people in Latvia. All findings are based on our research survey of young people between 15 and 24 years. This research helps to analyse a mechanism of political socialization of young people, to understand on what criteria and with what knowledge, skills and values, young people are making their political choices. And finally to use all this knowledge to develop and improve political socialization processes in Latvia. Youth is a future of our country and that’s why every one of us must understand importance of increasing knowledge in a political culture of young people and youth political participation in Latvia.
