Neredzīgo un vājredzīgo cilvēku lasīšanas paradumi

Abstract

Maģistra darba „Neredzīgo un vājredzīgo cilvēku lasīšanas paradumi” mērķis ir izpētīt neredzīgo un vājredzīgo cilvēku lasīšanas paradumus, uzzināt kādiem daiļliteratūras žanriem šī mērķauditorija dod priekšroku. Problēma: mūsdienās ir ļoti daudz dažādu grāmatu, kuras nav pārveidotas Braila rakstā vai ierakstītas CD (audiogrāmatās), bet kuras ir vajadzīgas neredzīgajiem un vājredzīgajiem. Maģistra darbā tika izmantotas hermeneitikas-fenomenoloģijas filozofiskās teorijas un vidējā līmeņa nozares teorija – lietošanas un gandarījuma teorija. Anketēts 41 neredzīgs un vājredzīgs cilvēks, kā arī intervēti LNB un LNerB bibliotēkas darbinieki. Rezultāti: daiļliteratūra sniedz cilvēkiem atpūtu, jaunas zināšanas u.tml., neredzīgie cilvēki vairāk dod priekšroku audiogrāmatām.

The aim of the master’s thesis “Reading Habits of Blind and Visually Impaired People” is to study the reading habits of blind and visually impaired people, and to find out what kind of literary genres does this target audience prefer. Issue: today there are many different books that have not been converted into Braille or recorded to CD (audio book), but which are necessary for the blind and visually impaired people. In the master’s thesis there has been used the philosophical theory – hermeneutic-phenomenology – and medium theory – uses and gratifications theory. There have been questioned 41 blind and visually impaired people, as well as there have been interviewed the employees of the National Library of Latvia and the Latvian Library for the Blind. Results: the belles-lettres gives people relaxation, new knowledge, etc., the blind people prefer to listen to audio books.
