Politiskā elite pēc Latvijas Republikas neatkarības atjaunošanas

Abstract

Sabrūkot Padomju Savienībai, Latvijas Republika atguva savu valstisko neatkarību. Mainoties valsts pārvaldes struktūrām, atvērts paliek jautājums par to, cik ļoti lielā mērā mainās personas, kas aizpilda amatu šajās pārvaldes struktūrās. Darbā tiek pētīta LR jaunās politiskās elites biogrāfija 1985., 1990. un 1995.gadā. Apkopotie jaunās elites biogrāfiskie dati tiek analizēti pēc elites cirkulācijas un elites reprodukcijas teorijām. Pēc analīzes veikšanas četros biogrāfiskajos aspektos, tiek secināts, ka Latvijā pēc pārejas izveidojusies jaunā politiskā elite, ir veidojusies vairāk elites cirkulācijas ceļā. Pētījumā secināts, ka jaunās elites locekļu vairums ieņēmuši pozīcijas elitē arī 1995.gadā, tāpēc ir spējusi noturēties pie varas.

After the collapse of The Soviet Union, Republic of Latvia regained its independence. During the transition of governmental institutions, one must ask on what level do the people change, who hold positions within the governing bodies. I study the biographies of the new political elite of Latvia in years 1985, 1990 and 1995. Gathered biographical data on the new elite is analyzed elite circulation and elite reproduction theories. After analysis in four biographical aspects, the study concludes that the new political elite was formed more by the circulation of elites. The study concludes that most of the new elite managed to hold on to the power in 1995.
