Konfliktsituācija Ukrainā: ES un NATO skatījums uz Ukrainas konflikta sekām

Abstract

Darbā tiek aplūkota Rietumvalstu uztvere par konfliktsituāciju Ukrainā, salīdzinot to ar konflikta iznākumu. Darba problemātika apskata sarežģījumus konflikta līdzšinējo seku novērtējumā, tāpēc mērķis ir izanalizēt konflikta sekas un salīdzināt tās ar ES un NATO valstu uztveri par Ukrainas konflikta iznākumu. Pētījuma teorētiskajā daļā tiek apskatītas uzvaras un uztveres pētniecības īpatnības, savukārt empīriskajā daļā tiek atbilstoši analizēta Rietumvalstu uztvere, kā arī tiek veikts Krievijas, Ukrainas un Rietumvalstu gūto ieguvumu, zaudējumu un mērķu salīdzinājums. Darbā tiek izmantotas kvalitatīvās pētījuma metodes un sekundāro datu analīze. Rezultāti norāda, ka Rietumvalstu uztvere Ukrainas konflikta kontekstā ir pārāk kritiska pret sevi. Research paper looks at the perception of Western countries of the Ukraine conflict comparing to the consequences on the ground. The problem marks difficulties to evaluate the outcome of the conflict that is why the aim is to analyze the consequences of the conflict so far and compare these results with the perception of the EU and NATO countries about the results of the Ukraine conflict. The theoretical background looks at the research specifics of victory and perception. The empirical part describes the perception of the West and compares gains, losses and aims of Russia, Ukraine and the West according to theoretical principles. This research is based on qualitative methods. The results prove that the perception of the West is too critical towards itself.
