Spēle kā motivācijas līdzeklis runāšanas prasmju attīstībā vācu valodas kā svešvalodas stundās pamatskolā

Diplomdarbā tika izpētīti teorētiskie materiāli par spēļu metodi kā vienu no iespējām uzlabot runāšanas prasmes svešvalodas mācību stundās, spēļu stundas plānošanas soļiem un pamatskolas vecumposma skolēnu personības attīstību. Praktiskajā daļā tika izvērtēts spēļu metodes uzdevumu un vingrinājumu reālais pielietojums svešvalodas mācību stundās. Spēļu metode palīdz apgūt ne tikai valodas prasmes, bet gan tādas prasmes kā loģisko un kreatīvo domāšanu, problēmu risināšanas prasmes, kognitīvās prasmes. Ar spēļu palīdzību skolēniem pieaug motivācija mācīties. Spēles rosina zinātkāri, interesi par visu jauno, palīdz nostiprināt jau iegūtās zināšanas. Bet plānojot spēļu stundu jāņem vērā skolēnu vecums, intereses, vajadzības, valodas līmenis, jo pretējā gadījumā netiks sasniegts vēlamais mērķis. Skolotāja uzdevums ir izvēlēties piemērotu spēli noteiktai situācijai, ņemot vērā iepriekš minēto, skolēnu iepriekšējās zināšanas. Pirms spēles jāpārliecinās par to, ka skolēni ir sapratuši spēles noteikumus. Spēles laikā skolotājs koordinē darbu, labo skolēnu kļūdas un godīgi izvērtē skolēnu dalību spēlē. Pamatskolas vecumposma skolēni vēlas būt pamanīti vienaudžu starpā, spēles ļauj skolēniem radoši izpausties, parādīt savas spējas, kas iedvesmo skolēnus aktīvi piedalīties spēlē. Izmēģinājuma stundās skolēni uzvedās labi, spēles viņiem patika, viņi bija ļoti motivēti. Neatkarīgi no skolēnu valodas, zināšanu un prasmju līmeņa visi skolēni bija ļoti aktīvi, centās ieguldīt darbā iespējami daudz, nepievēršot uzmanību tam, ka tas ir ierasts mācību process. Prakses beigās skolēni atzinās, ka ar spēļu palīdzību viņu zināšanu līmenis paaugstinājās, atzīmes uzlabojās, pieauga vēlēšanās nākt uz stundām, un viņi labprāt arī turpmāk mācītos ar spēlēm. Teorētiskajā daļā gūtās atziņas, kā arī praktiskajā daļā iegūtie rezultāti un aptaujas izvērtēšana apliecina, ka spēļu metodes pielietošana svešvalodu mācību stundās palīdz veicināt svešvalodas runāšanas prasmju uzlabošanos, attīsta komunikatīvo un sociālo kompetenci, kā arī paaugstina skolēnu vēlmi mācīties un veicina skolēnu vispusīgu izglītību un personības attīstību. The aim of the Diploma Paper is to explore the theory of game method as a way to develop speaking skills in German as foreign language lessons. The practical value of the Diploma Paper are developed training materials for German as a foreign language lessons with the use of a game method. The method helps to acquire not only language skills, but also such skills as logical and creative thinking, ability to solve problems and cognitive skills. Learning through play is a way to raise students’ motivation to study. Games encourage curiosity and help to strengthen the already acquired knowledge. But it has to be taken into account students’ age, interests, needs and language level, otherwise set goals won’t be achieved. The teacher's task is to select the most appropriate game for a particular situation with regard to the points mentioned before and students’ prior knowledge. Before the game teacher has to make sure students have understood game rules. During the game teacher coordinates the work, corrects students’ mistakes and as honestly as possible evaluate student participation in the game. Primary school age students want to stand out and be noticed among other students. Games allow students to manifest themselves, show their creativity and other abilities, and that encourages students to actively participate in the game. During practice students behaved very well, they liked all the games and were very motivated. Regardless of students’ language, knowledge and skill level all the students were active, they tried to contribute as much as possible without paying attention on atmosphere being a regular learning process. At the end of the practice students confessed, that learning through play helped them to increase the level of knowledge, to improve their marks, and they would love to continue learning with games. After the designing of the Diploma Paper there were conclusions made that the usage of the game method in foreign language lessons helps to promote the improvement of speaking and social skills, as well as, increase students' willingness to learn and contribute students' comprehensive education and personal development.
