Bibliotēkas ceļrāžu nozīme un ietekme uz lietotāju uzvedību

Abstract

Daudzu lietotāju uztverē bibliotēka ir vairāk kā vieta, kur saņemt izsniegto grāmatu. Mūsdienu bibliotēka ir atmiņas institūcija, kura spēj piedāvāt daudzus un dažādus informācijas avotus gan drukātā, gan elektroniskā veidā. Bibliotēka piedāvā indivīdam iespēju orientēties telpā un patstāvīgi strādāt ar informāciju, atrodot to ar ceļrāžu palīdzību. Ceļrāži bibliotēkās ir nozīmīgs bibliotēkas pakalpojums, kurš palīdz veiksmīgi nodrošināt bibliotēkas turpmāko attīstību, sekmējot arī pozitīvu lietotāja pieredzi atrodoties bibliotēkā. Bakalaura darba “Bibliotēkas ceļrāžu nozīme un ietekme uz lietotāju uzvedību” mērķis ir definēt faktorus, kuri ietekmē lietotāju uzvedību bibliotēkā, saskaroties ar ceļrāžiem, pētījuma gaitā noskaidrojot, cik svarīga ir ceļrāžu loma bibliotēkā. Pētījuma iegūtie empīriskie rezultāti var turpmāk kalpot kā materiāls, lai uzlabotu ceļrāžu sistēmu un kā informatīvā bāze citā pētījumā.

For many users the perception of library is more than a place to get issued books. Nowdays library is a memory institution that is able to offer a wide range of information sources, both printed and in electronic form. The library offers the individual the opportunity to navigate in space and work with information independently by finding their way with a help from signage. Signage in libraries is an important library service, which helps to ensure the successful future development of the library by promoting a positive user experience while being in the library. The main purpose of the Bachelor thesis “Library signage role and impact on user behavior” is to define the factors of the influence of user behavior who are finding their way in the library with the help of the signage, while determining during the case study the importance of the role of the library signage. The obtained research empirical results can continue to serve as material to improve signage system and an information base in another research study.
