Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma: Vecākā pirmsskolas vecuma bērnu angļu valodas apguves sekmēšana rotaļās un spēlēs. Darba autore: Eva Radziņa Darba vadītājs: Inga Stangaine Pētījuma mērķis: Noskaidrot, analizēt un pamatot rotaļu un spēļu izmantošanas iespējas vecākā pirmsskolas vecuma bērnu angļu valodas apguves veicināšanā. Hipotēze: Vecākā pirmsskolas vecuma bērnu angļu valodas apguve tiks sekmēta, ja: •nodarbībās galvenā izmantotā metode ir rotaļas un spēles; •rotaļas un spēles tiek organizētas atraktīvi, balstoties uz bērnu emocijām un patstāvīgu darbību; •rotaļu saturs izvēlēts ievērojot pēctecības (no vienkāršāka un sarežģītāku) principu, kā arī ievērojot bērnu intereses. Darba teorētiskajā daļā, tiek apkopoti pedagogu un psihologu viedokļi par svešvalodas apguves paņēmieniem. Izvērtētas bilingvālās izglītības priekšrocības un arī šīs metodes trūkumi. Izzinātas vecākā pirmsskolas vecumposma attīstības īpatnības. Rotaļa ir pamatdarbības veids pirmsskolā, tāpēc autore uzsver pirmsskolas priekšrocību, lai šajā vecumā uzsāktu angļu valodas apguvi ar rotaļas palīdzību. Darba praktiskajā daļā apkopota informācija par pedagoģisko procesu, kas tiek realizēts angļu valodas apguves veicināšanai. Veikts pētījums, novērtējot bērnu zināšanas pētījuma sākumā, veicot pedagoģisko darbību, aprakstot rezultātus par bērnu angļu valodas prasmēm pētījuma beigās. Darbā izmantotas tādas rotaļas un spēles, kuras uzdevumi un tematika sekmē angļu valodas apguvi. Darbs sastāv no 54 lappusēm, 2 nodaļām, 9 apakšnodaļām, secinājumiem, 40 izmantotās literatūras un informācijas avotu, 2 pielikumiem, 7 attēliem un 4 tabulām.

The topic of Bachelor paper: Promotion for English language using games and plays for children at senior pre-school level. Author of the paper: Eva Radziņa Supervisor: Inga Stangaine Research purpose: Study, analyse and justify the potentialities of using games and plays in promotion of acquisition of the English language for children at senior pre-school level. Hypothesis: Promotion of acquisition of the English language for children at senior pre-school level depends on the following: •games and plays are the main teaching method used in the lesson; •games and plays are arranged in an attractive way, taking into account emotions of children, and they include independent work; •content of the games and plays complies with the principle of succession (from simple to complex), taking into account the interests of children. The theoretical part of the paper summarises opinions of teachers and psychologists about methods of acquisition of a foreign language. It analyses advantages and disadvantages of bilingual education and studies peculiarities of development of children at senior pre-school level. Games are the main teaching method at the pre-school level, and therefore the author emphasises the privilege of pre-schools in starting teaching English at this age using games. The practical part of the paper generalises information about the educational process promoting acquisition of the English language. The study was carried out, and it involved measuring the level of knowledge of children before and after the course and the actual teaching. For the purpose of the study the games and plays involving tasks and topics facilitating the acquisition of English were used. The Paper contains 54 pages, 2 parts, 9 sections, conclusions, bibliographic reference list with 40 items, 2 annexes, 7 images and 4 tables.
