Abstract

Intelektuālās attīstības veicināšana matemātikas nodarbībās 5 – 6 gadus veciem bērniem. Darba mērķis: Analizēt intelektuālās attīstības veicināšanas pedagoģiskās iespējas matemātikas nodarbībās 5 – 6 gadus veciem bērniem. Teorētiskajā daļā darba autore darbā apraksta bērna intelektuālās attīstības īpatnības 5- 6 gadu veciem bērniem, aprakstītā teorija tiek analizēta no zinātnieku izveidotām teorijām par bērnu vecumposmu īpatnībām vecākajā pirmskolas vecumā. Analizējot zinātnieku aprakstītās teorijas tiek arī darbā aprakstīta pedagoģiskās iespējas bērna intelektuālas attīstības veicināšanā. Empīriskajā daļā tiek aprakstīts un analizēta literatūra par matemātisko priekšstatu veicināšanu pirmskolā bērniem vecumā no 5 – 6 gadiem. Darbā ietvaros tiek veikts pētījums, kurā piedalās 10 pirmskolas vecākās grupas bērni, pētījumā tiek izmantota novērojuma metode, kā arī tiek aptaujāti pirmsskolas pedagogi. Ar novērojuma metodi darba autore vēlas noskaidrot bērna zināšanas par matemātiskajiem priekšstatiem un pedagogu iespējām bērna intelektuālas attīstības veicināšanā. Darbs sastāv no ievada, teorētiskās daļas, empīriskās daļas, kā arī no secinājumiem un pielikumiem. Darbā tiek aprakstīta literatūra par intelektuālās attīstības veicināšanu bērniem no 5 – 6 gadu vecuma, kā arī pedagoģiskās iespējas. Empīriskajā daļā tiek aprakstīta informācija, par matemātisko priekšstatu veicināšanu pirmsskolā. Tiek aprakstīta pētījuma bāze un metodes, kā ari tiek apkopoti iegūtie rezultāti un tie parakstīti. Intellectual development improvement in mathematics classes for five to six years old children. The goal: To analyze how pedagogical methods promote intellectual development in mathematics classes for five to six years old children. Theory: The author classifies and discusses intellectual development characteristics in five to six years old children. This part of the thesis is based on scientific theories and findings on specific age-group characteristics for older pre-school aged children. While analyzing scientific theories, the author also discusses available pedagogical methods to promote and encourage intellectual development in children. The empirical part: The available literature on how to promote understanding and development of mathematical concepts in children age of five to six, is analyzed and discussed. A study was conducted involving ten pre-school aged children and their teachers. The aim of this study was to find out the level of knowledge for children in this age group on mathematical concepts, and to identify teachers’ abilities to promote and encourage intellectual development in older pre-school aged children. Thesis consist of introduction, theory, the empirical part, conclusions and attachments. The author discusses the findings on emotional intelligence and how to encourage it in five to six years old children. The teachers’ abilities and methods to promote the development of intellectual intelligence, are also reviewed. The empirical part compasses information on how the understanding of mathematical concepts is being explained to pre-school aged children. The methods and major findings of the study are discussed.
