Sieviešu motivācija veikt valsts organizētos vēža skrīninga izmeklējumus

Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma – „Sieviešu motivācija veikt valsts organizētos vēža skrīninga izmeklējumus”. Tēmas aktualitāti nosaka arvien straujāk pieaugošais sieviešu onkoloģisko saslimšanu skaits – t.i. dzemdes kakla, krūts dziedzera un kolorektālais vēzis. Darba mērķis: Izpētīt sieviešu motivāciju veikt valsts organizētos vēža skrīninga izmeklējumus. Lai sasniegtu izvirzīto mērķi, tika izvirzīti 5 pētījuma uzdevumi. Pētījuma jautājums: Kāda ir sieviešu motivācija veikt valsts organizētos vēža skrīninga izmeklējumus? Pētījuma metode – Kvantitatīvā pētījuma metode, kuras instruments ir aptaujas anketa. Pētījums tika veikts X reģiona klīnikā, aptaujātas 100 sievietes no 25-70 gadiem. Darbs sastāv no ievada, sešām nodaļām, secinājumiem, literatūras un avotu saraksta, četriem pielikumiem. Darba pirmajā daļā veikts teorētiskās literatūras apraksts par sieviešu motivāciju veikt valsts organizētos vēža skrīninga izmeklējumus, analizēta un tēmai piesaistīta D. E. Oremas teorija. Darba otrajā daļā atspoguļoti pētījumā apkopotie un analizētie iegūtie rezultāti. Pēc pētījuma rezultātu apkopošanas izdarīti secinājumi, kuri parāda, ka apmeklēt valsts organizētos vēža skrīninga izmeklējumus kavē laika un informācijas trūkums. Pētījuma mērķis ir sasniegts, un pētījumā iegūtie dati liecina, ka ir atbildēts uz pētījuma jautājumu, respektīvi, sievietes ir motivētas un gatavas doties uz valsts organizētajiem vēža skrīninga izmeklējumiem. Darbs uzrakstīts uz 50 lpp, tajā ir 16 attēli, darbam pievienoti 4 pielikumi.

Title of the Study – „Women’s motivation to do state organized cancer screening tests”. The need for the study is highlighted by the rapidly growing number of women who are suffering with an oncological illness (cervical, breast and colorectal cancer). Aim of the study is to analyze women’s motivation to do state organized cancer screening tests. In order to reach this goal the author of the study has brought forward five tasks. This study turns the spotlight on searching an answer to the question – what is the motivation of women to do state organized cancer screening tests? The research method used in this study has a quantitative approach which takes the form of questionnaire. The survey was carried out in the regional clinic of X and it includes 100 women who are in the age range of 25 to 70. The study is combined of an introduction part, six chapters, conclusions, bibliography and four appendices. The first part of the study is based on the theoretical literature which looks into women’s motivation to do state organized cancer screening tests. The theoretical literature is analyzed and combined with the self-care deficit theory by Dorothea E. Orem. The second part of the study summarizes and analyzes the results. The aim of the study is reached and the data indicates that women are motivated and tend to be ready to go to do state organized cancer screening tests. However, the conclusions of the study indicate that women tend not to go to do state organized cancer screening tests because they simply do not have time or have not received enough information about these tests. The study consists of 50 pages, 16 images and four appendices.
