Brīvdabas pedagoģijas idejas un priekšrocības pirmsskolas vecuma bērnu attīstībā

Abstract

Kvalifikācijas darbs pedagoģijā ar nosaukumu „Brīvdabas pedagoģijas idejas un priekšrocības pirmsskolas vecuma bērnu attīstībā” izstrādāts Latvijas Universitātes Pedagoģijas, psiholoģijas un mākslas fakultātes Pedagoģijas nodaļā Dr. paed., vad. pētn. Aīdas Krūzes vadībā laika posmā no 2017. gada marta līdz 2017. gada decembrim. Mūsdienu urbanizētajā pasaulē, kurā arvien lielāka loma bērnu ikdienā ir medijiem un elektroniskajām ierīcēm, kurā katra diena ir līdz sīkumam saplānota un pilna dažādu aktivitāšu, ierobežojot bērnu iespējas nodoties brīvajām rotaļām, kurā vecāki pārmērīgi rūpējas par saviem bērniem, mēģinot pasargāt no vismazākā riska, arī saskarsme ar dabu kļūst arvien retāka un pastarpinātāka, liedzot bērnam pilnvērtīgi attīstīties un atņemot iespēju baudīt priekšrocības, ko sniedz atrašanās dabā. Autore uzskata, ka brīvdabas pedagoģija ir šobrīd aktuāla un Latvijā maz pētīta pedagoģijas nozare, kuras nozīmi un ieguvumus nepieciešams pētīt, aprakstīt un popularizēt plašākā mērogā. Kvalifikācijas darba mērķis ir veikt teorētisko avotu izpēti, sniedzot ieskatu brīvdabas pedagoģijas pamatnostādnēs un specifikā, kā arī veikt empīrisku pētījumu, lai izpētītu, kā brīvdabas pedagoģijas idejas tiek realizētas Latvijā un kādus ieguvumus šī pedagoģija sniedz bērnu attīstībā. Darba pirmajā nodaļā autore sniedz padziļinātu ieskatu brīvdabas pedagoģijas vēsturē, tās teorētiskajos un praktiskajos aspektos. Otrā nodaļa veltīta teorētisko avotu apkopojumam par vides, emociju un pedagoga nozīmi bērna attīstībā biofīlijas un konstruktīvisma teoriju kontekstā, saistībā ar brīvdabas pedagoģiju. Trešajā nodaļā atspoguļots empīrisks pētījums, kas veikts reālā pirmsskolas grupā Latvijā, kas realizē brīvdabas pedagoģijas idejas savā ikdienā. Kvalifikācijas darba mērķis ir sasniegts. Ir izveidots teorijas apkopojums, kas var kalpot kā uzziņu materiāls ikvienam pedagogam un aptver plašu, savstarpēji papildinošu tēmu loku, kuru centrā ir brīvdabas pedagoģija, tās vēsture, idejas un priekšrocības. Ir ievākti un apkopoti empīriskie dati par aktīvu pirmsskolas brīvdabas grupu, kas realizē šīs idejas praksē un kurā atspoguļojas brīvdabas pedagoģijas sniegtās priekšrocības. Ir dots ieguldījums šīs specifiskās pedagoģijas jomas popularizēšanā, izveidojot teorētisko atziņu un praktiskās pieredzes apkopojumu latviešu valodā, kas līdz šim nav veikts, un izstrādājot ieteikumus nodarbību vadīšanai brīvā dabā pirmsskolas izglītības iestāžu pedagogiem.

Qualification paper in pedagogy entitled „Ideas and Benefits of Outdoor Education in Pre-school Children's Development” was developed at the Pedagogy Department of the Faculty of Pedagogy, Psychology and Art of the University of Latvia under the guidance of Dr. paed. leading researcher Aīda Krūze during the period from March to December 2017. In today's urbanized world, where media and electronic devices are becoming increasingly important part of preschool children life, where each day is well planned and full of different activities limiting children's opportunities for free play, in which parents take excessive care of their children, trying to protect them from every risk, contact with nature is also becoming less frequent, preventing children from developing fully and taking away the opportunity to enjoy the benefits of being in the wild. The author believes that outdoor pedagogy is currently topical and very important research field, that has not been studied and described enough in Latvia. The importance and benefits of it is need to be studied, described and promoted on a wider scale. The purpose of the qualification work is to study the theoretical sources, providing insight into the guidelines and specifics of outdoor pedagogy, and to conduct an empirical study to explore how ideas of outdoor pedagogy are implemented in Latvia and what benefits this pedagogy provides for children's development. In the first chapter of the work, the author gives an in-depth insight into the history of outdoor pedagogy, describing its theoretical and practical aspects. The second chapter is devoted to the analysis of theoretical sources on the role of the environment, emotions and educator in the development of the child, in the context of biophilia and constructivist theories in relation to outdoor pedagogy. The third chapter presents an empirical study conducted in a real preschool group in Latvia, which implements outdoor pedagogy in their everyday lives. The goal of the qualification work has been achieved. A comprehensive review of the theory has been developed and can serve as a reference material for any educator and covers a broad range of complementary topics related to outdoor pedagogy, its history, ideas and benefits. The empirical data on an active outdoor preschool group that employs these ideas in practice and reflects the benefits of outdoor pedagogy has been collected and compiled. Contribution has been made to promote this specific field of pedagogy by creating a collection of theory and practical experience available in Latvian that has not been done so far and by developing recommendations for pre-school teachers on conducting outdoor activities.
