Skolēna lasītintereses veicināšana ārpusklases stundās bibliotēkā

Abstract

Vitas Siliņas diplomdarba "Skolēna lasīšanas intereses veicināšana ārpusklases bibliotēkas stundās" mērķis ir pētīt skolēnu lasīšanas intereses veicināšanas iespējas ārpusklases darbā bibliotēkā. Mērķa sasniegšanai ir analizēta literatūra par lasīšanas interešu veicināšanas iespējām jaunākā skolas vecumā, pedagoģiskās izmēģinājuma darbības rezultāti, apkopojot pētījuma rezultātus 3., 4. klasē. Pētījums ļāva noskaidrot, kādas metodes ir piemērotākās un efektīvākās ārpusklases stundās bibliotēkā, kuras var veicināt skolēnos lasīšanas intereses. Praktiskā darba pieredzes pētījums veikts pilsētas X vidusskolā, 3.- 4. klasē. Dati tika vākti, anketējot skolēnus, vērojot procesu.

The purpose of the diploma paper "Promotion of the students' interests in the extracurricular library lessons" is to investigate students' reading interests and promote students, teachers and school librarians cooperation. The following methods were used: quantitative research method as the primary method using a pedagogical experiment in the elementary school as the research type and a qualitative method to analyse quantitative data gathered from questionnaires, as well as classroom observation as data- gathering instruments. The research findings indicate that the learners tend to be more motivated and show greater interest in the subject when teaching is based on the library lessons. The results obtained suggest that the library lessons enhance student intrinsic and extrinsic motivation and therefore it should be used as a complement with the aim to promote student proficiency in reading lessons.
