Video aktivitāšu veidošana skolēnu iesaistīšanai angļu valodas stundās vidusskolā

Abstract

Skolotāja pieredzes darba tēma ir ‘Video aktivitāšu veidošana sklēnu iesaistīšanai angļu valodas stundās vidusskolā’. Darba autore strādā Gulbenes 2.vidusskolā par angļu valodas skolotāju piecpadsmit gadus. Situācija mūsdienās pierada ka digitālas tehnoloģijas ir nepārprotāmi ietekmējušās mūsu ikdienu. Cilvēki lieto digittālas ierīces visur, kad ir vajadzīgs un visur kur ir iespējams. Tēma ļoti saistīta ar šīm izmaiņam un ar nepieciešamību veidot stundas patīkāmākas, motivējošākās un effektivākās – gan skolotājiem gan skolēniem, ka resultātā skolēni būs iesaistīti mācību procesā pilnībā. Video skatīšanās nav tikai izklaide un laika pavdīšana stundās. Tas ietekmē izglītības procesu, jo tas attīsta skolēnu klausīšanās prasmes, ka arī runāšanas, paplašina vārdu krājumu un tas ir nenovertējams redze sloka paplašinājums. Darba mērķis ir atrst ceļus kā veidot labākas aktivites lai iesaistītu vidusskolas skolēnus mācību procesā angļu valoda stundās. Pētījuma metode ir darbības izpēte. Darba autore secināja, ka uz video balstītās ativitātes veido skolēnu iesaitīšanos angķu valodas stundās. Balstoties uz skolotāju aptaujas rezultātiem tas ir nenoliedzami lietderīgs rīks angļu valodas stundās lai motivēti un iesaistītu skolēnus mācību procesā. Darbības izpēte pieradīja, ka uz video balstītās aktivitātes palīdz uzlabot valodas prasmes tādas ka rakstīšana, runāšana, ka arī valodas lietojums. Iesasitīti ar video palīdzību skolēni neapzināti veic darbu stundās labāk.

The theme of the Teacher’s Portfolio is ‘Designing Video-based Activities to Raise Secondary School Students’ Engagement in English Lessons’. The author of the Portfolio works at Gulbene Secondary School No 2 as an English language teacher for fifteen years. The state of art is that information and digital technologies have influenced the life of society crucially. People use digital devices everywhere, whenever they want and need. The topicality of the theme is bond with these changes and necessity to design lessons more enjoyable, motivating and effective – both for teachers and students, as a result, students will be engaged in the studying process fully. Watching video is not only entertainment and spending the time during the lessons. It plays a vital role in education because it improves students’ listening and speaking skills, broadens vocabulary and it is an outstanding source of information. The aim of the Teacher’s Portfolio is to explore how to design video-based activities to raise secondary school students’ engagement in English lessons. The method of the research is an action research. The author of the Portfolio concluded that video-based activities raise students’ engagement in English lessons. According to the questionnaires to teachers it is undoubtedly useful tool to use in English lessons to motivate and engage students in learning and teaching process. The action research proved that using video-based activities helps to improve language skills such as writing, speaking, as well as language use; engaged by videos students unconsciously perform in English lessons better.
