Skolotāja logopēda izglītība un karjeras iespējas Latvijā

Abstract

Maģistra darba „Skolotāja logopēda izglītība un karjeras iespējas Latvijā” aktualitāti nosaka izmaiņas sabiedrībā, kurā skolotājs logopēds kļūst par svarīgu izglītības daļu, un, lai ieņemtu nozīmīgāku lomu, katram skolotājam logopēdam ir jābūt atbilstošai izglītībai un iespējām sasniegt augstākus rezultātus profesionālajā darbībā. Darba mērķis ir izpētīt skolotāja logopēda izglītības iegūšanas un karjeras izaugsmes iespējas Latvijā. Lai sasniegtu darba mērķi tika veikts aptaujas pētījums. Tika analizēti tādi jautājumi kā logopēdijas zinātnes attīstība pasaulē un Latvijā, logopēdijas pamatlicēji Latvijā, skolotāju logopēdu portrets un karjeras attīstības iespējas cilvēka dzīvē. Aplūkoti vairāku autoru pētījumi minētajā jomā, piemēram, S. Tūbeles, I. Miltiņas, B. Trinītes, I. Šūmanes, E. Laganovskas, I. Miķelsones u.c. Anketēšanas un interviju rezultātā tika noskaidrots, ka skolotāju logopēdu izglītība jāpilnveido, lai to paveiktu, skaidri jāsaprot, kādas ir vajadzības un vēlmes skolotājiem logopēdiem. Darba noslēgumā izdarīti secinājumi un izstrādātas rekomendācijas par iespējām uzlabot skolotāja logopēda izglītības kvalitāti.

The relevance of the topic Master Thesis „Education and Career Opportunities for Teachers – Speech Therapists in Latvia” derives from the society where teacher – speech therapist becomes a significant part of education, and in order to obtain more important role, each teacher – speech therapist must have appropriate education and opportunities to achieve higher results in their professional activities. The aim of the Thesis is to research teachers-speech therapists’ opportunities for obtaining an education and career advancement in Latvia. In order to reach the aim, the survey has been carried out. First of all, the development of speech and language science in the world and in Latvia have been analysed, the founders of speech therapy in Latvia, portrayal of speech therapists and career development opportunities in human life have been described. Researches of such authors as S. Tūbele, I. Miltiņa, B. Trinīte, I. Šūmane, E. Laganovska, I. Miķelsone et al in the relevant field have been reviewed. As the result of the survey and interviews it has been determined that education of teachers – speech therapists should be improved, in order to accomplish that it must be clearly understood what are needs and necessities of teachers – speech therapists. In the final part of the study conclusions are made and recommendations are provided regarding ways how to improve quality of education of teacher – speech and language therapist.
