AUTORIZDEVUMU PAR ROKDARBIEM DIZAINA VIZUĀLI STILISTISKIE ASPEKTI

Abstract

Diplomdarba „Autorizdevumu par rokdarbiem dizaina vizuāli stilistiskie aspekti” mērķis ir izstrādāt grāmatas dizainu, kurā tiek apkopoti un prezentēti rokdarbu autores Lūcijas Zahares izšuvuma darbi. Tēmas aktualitāte ietver mūsdienu sabiedrībā būtisko vērtību apkopošanu grāmatā ar viegli uztveramu un baudāmu dizainu. Balstoties uz diplomdarbā izvirzīto jautājumu, par to kādi dizaina vizuāli stilistiskie aspekti tiek izmantoti, veidojot grāmatas par rokdarbiem dizainu, tika izvēlēti literatūras izpētes materiāli teorētiskajai daļai, un tie ietver informāciju par grāmatu rašanās vēsturi, iesiešanas un iespiešanas tehnikām, grafiskā dizaina pamatprincipiem, kā arī burtveidoliem un vizuāla materiāla kvalitāti. Pēc teorētiskās literatūras izpētes tiek veikts salīdzinošais pētījums, kas ietver astoņpadsmit rokdarbu grāmatu izpēti un analīzi. Pēc izpētes rezultātiiem, autore secina, ka lielu lomu spēlē grāmatas izmēra izvēle, vienkārša režģa sisēmas pielieojums visos gāmatas atvērumos, u.c. Visas iegūtās zināšanas un rezultāti tad tiek pielietoti kā pamatkritēriji grāmatas izveidei, prezentējot Lūcijas Zahares izšuvumus.

The aim of the thesis "Visually stylistic aspects of graphic design for a book presenting handicrafts" is to design a book layout, in which the embroidery work of the craftsman Lūcija Zahare is compiled and presented. It is important to create an aesthetically pleasing and easy perceptible publication in order to preserve and expose traditional handcraft. Based on the question raised in the thesis, investigating which visually stylistic aspects are used for a book about handcrafts, the following theories have been used by the author - the history of books, printing- and binding techniques, principles of graphic design, font formats and quality of visual materials. Following the literature review, a comparative case study of eighteen books about different handcrafts have been carried out and the objects analyzed. The findings of the study suggests, amoung other things, that the size of the book is of importance as well as a simple grid system throughout the layout. These findings where then applied when creating the book presenting Lūcijas Zahares embroidery.
