Pieaugušo mācīšanās kompetences attīstība svešvalodu apguvē e-mācību vidē

Abstract

Informācijas un komunikācijas tehnoloģiju izmantošana izglītībā un vispārējā cilvēka attīstībā bijusi plaši diskutēta tēma. Mūsdienu mainīgajā sabiedrībā cilvēkam jābūt trenētam ar aktuālajām mūžizglītības kompetencēm un spējām, kas ļauj turpināt mācības arī pēc vispārējās izglītības iegūšanas. Galvenais mērķis ir izpētīt iespējamos veidus un līdzekļus, kā attīstīt pieaugušo mācīšanās kompetneci svešvalodu apguvē e-mācību vidē. Pētījumā izmantotas metodes, teorētiskās literatūras apskats un interpretējošā fenomenoloģiskā analīze. Maģistra darba teorētisko bāzi veido diskusija par spējām, mācīšanās mācīties kompetences komponentiem un to izvērtēšana. E-mācību vide: kā alternatīva svešvalodu apguvē un tās raksturojums, kā arī pieaugušo izglītības teorijas un pieaugušo psiholoģiskās un paaudžu izglītības atšķirības. Maģistra darba empīriskā daļā veikti jaukti pētījumi, tā apraksta fokusgrupu novērojumu, daļēji strukturētu interviju un ekspertu atzinumu datu analīzi un rezultātus. Apkopotie rezultāti atspoguļo pieaugušo izpratni par mācīšanās kompetneci un tās attīstību svešvalodu apguvē e-mācību vidē.

The use of information and communication technologies has been widely discussed topic in the field of education and the overall development of an individual. A person from ever-changing nowadays society must be trained with the actual lifelong learning competences and capacities, which allow continuing learning process after general studies. The main aim was to investigate the possible ways and means of developing adults’ learning-to-learn competence in foreign language acquisition in an e-learning environment. The methods used are a theoretical literature review and interpretive phenomenological analysis. The theoretical framework deals with the discussion of the abilities, as components of learning to learn competence, its assessment. E-learning: an alternative environment for foreign language acquisition and its main characteristics, as well as the theories on adult education and their psychological and generational differences in education. The empirical part of the Master’s Thesis presents the results of a data analysis obtained through focus group observations, semi-structured interviews with the research participant and expert interviews. The data gathered reveals adult learners’ understanding of learning-to-learn competence and its development in foreign language acquisition in an e-learning environment.
