Ilgtspējīgas attīstības aspektu integrēšana dabaszinību stundās vidusskolā

Abstract

Maģistra darba “Ilgtspējīgas attīstības aspektu integrēšana dabaszinību stundās vidusskolā” aktualitāti nosaka mūsdienu globālās problēmas, kas saistītas ar atmosfēras piesārņojumu un globālo sasilšanu, kā arī pārmērīgu resursu izmantošanu. Pētījuma mērķis ir izpētīt, kā integrēt ilgtspējīgas attīstības aspektus tēmas “Enerģija” apguvei dabaszinībās 12. klasei, skolēnu paradumu maiņas un zināšanu pilnveidei. Pētījumā iesaistījās Rīgas Valsts 3. ģimnāzijas 46 skolēni un četri fizikas skolotāji. Pētījuma ietvaros darba autore ir izstrādājusi tematisko plānu, nodarbību plānus ilgtspējīgas enerģijas aspektu integrēšanai mācību saturā, kas veidoti pamatojoties uz normatīvajiem dokumentiem, kā arī veikusi zinātniskās un metodiskās literatūras izpēti, lai veicinātu izpratni par ilgtspējīgas enerģijas attīstību vispārizglītojošo skolu vidusskolas 12. klašu skolēniem dabaszinību mācību priekšmetā. Izveidotie astoņi stundu plāni, atbilstošās darba lapas, prezentāciju materiāli tika aprobēti un veikti ieteikumi kā arī vispārīgs to lietderības novērtējums, lai konstatētu izstrādāto materiālu efektivitāti un saturisko jēgu skolēnu zināšanu apgūšanai un paradumu maiņas konstatēšanai. Maģistra darba mērķa sasniegšanai tika veikts gadījuma pētījums. Gadījuma pētījumā tika izmantotas tādas metodes kā anketēšana un intervija, lai konstatētu skolēnu zināšanu pilnveidi un paradumu maiņu, par ilgtspējīgas enerģijas attīstības jautājumiem. Darba noslēgumā izdarīti secinājumi un izstrādāti ieteikumi par ilgtspējīgas enerģijas aspektu integrēšanu mācību stundās, par skolēnu ieguvumiem pēc aprobācijas procesa un dots ekspertu novērtējums par izstrādāto tematisko plānu “Ilgtspējīga enerģija”, kā arī stundu plāniem un darba lapām.

The topicality of Diploma Paper “Integration of Sustainable Development Aspects at Natural Science Lessons in Secondary School” is defined by today's global challenges that are related to atmospheric pollution and global warming as well as to excessive use of resources. The aim of the research is to explore how to integrate sustainable development aspects into learning the topic “Energy” at Grade 12 Natural Science subject lessons to change the habits of students and improve their knowledge. 46 students and four Physics teachers of Riga 3rd gymnasium were involved in the study. Within the framework of the research the Author of the Paper developed a thematic plan, lesson plans for the integration of sustainable development aspects into the curriulum on the basis of a regulatory document, and conducted a scientific and methodological literature research to promote sustainable energy development in Grade 12 students of general education school at Natural Science subject lessons. The eight lesson plans created, the corresponding worksheets, and presentation materials were approbated and recommendations were made, along with overall effectiveness evaluation to determine the effectiveness of the developed materials and detecting the meaningful content of learning for students’ knowledge improvement and habit change. To achieve the aim of the Diploma Paper a case study has been done. Questionnaires and interviews were used to identify students’ knowledge improvement and habit change in the improvement of sustainable energy. In the end of the Paper conclusions and recommendations about sustainable energy aspects integration into lessons, the benefit for the students after the approbation process, and the assessment of experts on the plan "Sustainable Energy" as well as on the lesson plans and worksheets are made.
