Vietu attīstības priekšnosacījumi lauku teritorijās Latvijā

Abstract

Darba būtība ir rast atbildi uz jautājumu, kā caur vietrades procesu iespējams radīt vietas izjūtu sabiedriski nozīmīgās vietās lauku teritorijās. Atbilde uz jautājumu meklēta gan caur teorētisko analīzi, pētot tādus terminus kā vieta un telpa, vietas izjūta, gan arī apskatot dažādus zīmīgu vietu un vietrades piemērus pasaulē un Latvijā. Darba mērķis ir izstrādāt priekšnosacījumus Sunākstes jeb Vecā Stendera bijušās mācītājmuižas parka teritorijas un citu līdzīgu vietu sekmīgai telpiskai attīstībai lauku teritorijās. Darbā aprakstīti gan notikušie vietrades pasākumi un telpiskās attīstības procesi, gan sniegti priekšlikumi izpētes teritorijas fiziskās un sociālās telpas attīstībai, kā arī izvirzīti četri attīstības scenāriji. Galvenie rezultāti ir darba noslēgumā definētie deviņi priekšlikumi vietu attīstībai.

The nature of the work is to find an answer to the question, how to create a sense of place for significant places in rural territories by place-making. Answer to the question is sought through theoretical analysis by studying such terms as place and space, sense of place as well as by looking at various examples of interesting places and place-making in the world and Latvia. The aim of the work is to develop preconditions for successful spatial development of the Sunakste or Old Stender’s former vicarage park territory and other similar places in rural territories. The work outlines place-making events and spatial development processes, provides suggestions for social and physical space development, as well as lays down four development scenarios. The main outcomes are nine propositions for place development.
