Brīvprātīgo iesaiste notiesāto personu resocializācijā

Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma ir “Brīvprātīgo iesaiste notiesāto personu resocializācijā”. Kā darba mērķis tika izvirzīts noskaidrot brīvprātīgo iesaisti notiesāto personu resocializācijā. Tika izvirzīti arī trīs pētnieciskie jautājumi: 1) Kāda brīvprātīgajām personām ir motivācija veicot darbu ar notiesātajām personām to resocializācijas nolūkos un kas viņus motivē šī darba ietvaros? 2) Kādas iespējas tiek sniegtas brīvprātīgajiem to darba ietvaros un kādu atbalstu tie gūst? 3) Kādu lomu sniedz sociālais kapitāls brīvprātīgo darbā ar notiesātajām personā, lai tie tiktu resocializēti? Kā teorētisko ietvaru autore izvēlējās sociālā kapitāla teorijas, kuru autori ir Pjērs Burdjē, Džeimss Kolemans un Roberts Putnams. Bakalaura darbā tika izmantota kvalitatīvā metode – tika veiktas septiņas daļēji strukturētas intervijas. Lai samazinātu noziedzības līmeni valstī, brīvprātīgie strādā ar šīm notiesātajām personām un cenšas tos resocializēt. Vislielāko atbalstu un motivāciju tie saņem no saviem ģimenes locekļiem, kā arī no brīvprātīgā darba organizatoriem un koordinatoriem.

The topic for this bachelor’s paper is “Volunteer involvement in the re-socialisation of convicts”. Proposed objective for this paper is to find out the level of volunteer involvement in resocialisation of convicts. There were also proposed the following three research questions: 1) What is the motivation among the volunteers who work for the purpose of resocialisation of convicts and where does the motivation come from? 2) What kind of opportunities are there for these volunteers and is there any support coming from elsewhere? 3) What role does the social capital provide for volunteers working with convicts to succeed in their resocialisation? How did the author of theoretical frameworks choose the social capital theories, whose authors are Pierre Bourdieu, James Coleman and Robert Putnam. In this research paper qualitative approach was used – with seven semi-structured interviews. To reduce the levels of crime in the country, volunteers work with these convicted persons and try to resocialise them. Most of the support and motivation for the volunteers comes from their family members and voluntary work organizers and coordinators alike.
