Abstract

Maģistra darba tēma ir Skandālu ietekme uz politisko partiju un politiķu rezultātiem Saeimas vēlēšanās. Latvijas gadījums (2005-1014). Pētījuma mērķis ir identificēt politiskos skandālus no 2005. līdz 2014. gadam, tos saklasificēt un analizēt to ietekmi uz partiju un politiķu vēlēšanu rezultātiem 9.,10.,11. un 12. Saeimas vēlēšanās. Maģistra darbā izmantota teorija un līdzšinējie pētījumi par politiskajiem skandāliem un to ietekmi uz politiskajiem procesiem. Empīriskajā daļā veikta politisko skandālu identificēšana, klasificēšana un ietekmes uz vēlēšanu rezultātiem analīze kā partiju, tā politiķu līmenī. Lai arī pētījuma rezultāti neparāda skaidru korelāciju starp iesaisti politiskajos skandālos un vēlēšanu rezultātiem, tomēr maģistra darbs uzsver arvien pieaugošo politisko skandālu nozīmi un nepieciešamību pētīt to ietekmi. The theme of this master’s thesis is The impact of scandals on the parlament election results of political parties and politicians. The case of Latvia (2005-2014) The aim of the study is to identify political scandals from 2005. until 2014., in order to classify them and to analyse their impact on the results of party and political elections on 9th , 10th , 11th and the 12th Saeima elections. In this master's thesis the theory and the current research on political scandals and their impact on political processes have been used. The empirical part deals with the identification, classification and impact of political result analysis on election results of both - parties and politicians. Although the results of the study do not show a clear correlation between involvement in political scandals and election results, the master's thesis emphasizes the growing role of political scandals and the need to study the impact.
