Diplomdarba temats: 1.klases skolēnu fonemātiskās uztveres pilnveidošana īso, garo patskaņu diferencēšanā. Pētījuma mērķis. Teorētiski izpētīt un praktiski pārbaudīt fonemātiskās uztveres pilnveides iespējas 1. klases skolēniem īso un garo patskaņu diferencēšanā. Pētījuma uzdevumi: 1. Studēt teorētisko literatūru par diplomdarbam izvirzīto tematu. 2. Izpētīt un analizēt pētījumā iesaistīto bērnu fonemātiskās uztveres procesus īso un garo patskaņu diferencēšanā. 3. Veikt koriģējoši attīstošo darbību fonemātiskās uztveres pilnveidei īso un garo patskaņu diferencēšanā. 4. Чиркина, I. Miltiņa). The topic of the thesis: The improvement of the phonematic perception in differentiating short and long vowels between first grade pupils. The aim of the research: To explore and test the opportunities of improving the phonematic perception in differentiating short and long vowels between first grade pupils. Research objectives: 1.To study the available literature on the research topic. 2.To explore and analyse the processes of phonematic perception in differentiating short and long vowels between the children involved in the project. 3.To perform corrective developing actions to improve improving the phonematic perception in differentiating short and long vowels. 4.To evaluate the results obtained in the cooperation. The introduction describes the topicality and importance of the topic. Scientific conclusions of different authors about the psychic and physical, as well as speech development of first grade pupils (G. Svence, R. Geske, A.Ļubļinska), and the importance of phonematic perception in effective language development (S. Tūbele, Т. I. Miltiņa) have been analysed in the theoretical part of the paper. In the practical part, research of speech and the phonematic perception of pupils has been conducted, evaluation criteria and indicators of phonematic perception have been developed. Corrective developing actions have been performed via tasks and exercises that target short and long vowel differentiation to improve overall phonetic perception. The results of the research have been gathered and analysed. The task of the speech therapist is to help improve the phonematic perception in first grade via purposefully organised exercises. The development of phonematic perception is a long term and systematic process, which involves a specific set of tasks and exercises. The improvement of phonematic perception, game elements, listening to sounds of nature, and exercises that stimulate short and long vowel differentiation have been highlighted in the thesis. The exercises on the specific topic, colourful images that stimulate the learning process and age-appropriate tasks performed during the cooperation have increased the engagement of pupils. The thesis consists of an introduction, three sections with subsections, conclusions, and 4 appendices. 1 images and 24 tables have been included. Keywords: first grade pupils, phonematic perception, short and long vowels.
