Abstract

Mūsdienu digitizācijas un straujo tehnoloģiju ietekmē dažādu sfēru uzņēmumi steidz optimizēt un vienkāršot savu ikdienu, integrējot tajā pieejamos tehnoloģiskos risinājumus, lai spētu efektīvāk plānot laiku un būt konkurētspējīgi. Tā kā čeku un pavadzīmju apstrāde var būt laikietilpīgs process, tad pēc autora domām optiskās simbolu atpazīšanas sniegtās iespējas varētu būt viens no variantiem kā vienkāršot šo procesu. Galvenais mērķis ir pārliecināties, vai ar brīvi pieejamiem atvērtā pirmkoda risinājumiem ir iespējams veikt simbolu atpazīšanu, lai paātrinātu dokumentu apstrādi. Darba gaitā tiek pētīta optiskā simbolu atpazīšana un ar to saistītā attēlu pirmapstrāde, kā arī izstrādāta vienkārša tīmekļvietne izmantojot atvērtā pirmkoda bibliotēkas optiskajai simbolu atpazīšanai, attēlu apstrādei un tīmekļvietnes izstrādei.

Under the influence of today's digital and high-tech technologies, companies in different fields are in the process of optimizing and simplifying their everyday lives by integrating their technological solutions to be more efficient in planning and become more competitive. Since the processing of receipts and invoices can be a time-consuming process, according to the author, the possibilities offered by optical character recognition could be one of the options to simplify this process. The main objective is to make sure that open source solutions that are freely available to enable symbol recognition can be used to speed up the processing of documents. In the course of work, optical symbol recognition and related pre-processing of images are studied, and a simple website is developed using an open-source library for optical character recognition, image processing and website development.
