Bakalaura darbā pētīta AS „Latvijas valsts meži” finanšu darbības rādītāji un prognozētā peļņa. Tēmas aktualitāti darba autors pamato ar mežsaimniecības nozares nozīmīgumu tautsaimniecībā un pienesumu valsts ekonomikai kopum`a. Darba mērķis ir analizēt AS „Latvijas valsts meži” finanšu darbību un to ietekmējošos faktorus, un izvirzīt savus secinājumus un priekšlikumus. Mērķa sasniegšanai tika izmantota finanšu rādītāju analīzes metode, lai salīdzinātu un veiktu izpēti, kas ietekmējis rādītāju lielumu. Pētījuma rezultātā tik secināts, ka galvenais rādītāju ietekmējošais faktors ir koksnes cena. Cena koksnes tirgū var būtiski mainīties atkarībā no pieprasījuma un piedāvājuma. Ja koksnes cena tirgū ir augstāka, tad AS „Latvijas valsts meži” gūst lielākus ieņēmumus. The focus of the bachelor thesis is to evaluate financial ratios and earning forecast of “Latvijas valsts meži” JSC. The author has chosen topic of the research taking into consideration significance of forestry industry in economy of Latvia, as well as its contribution to economy in general. The purpose of the work is to analyze both financial situation of JSC “Latvijas valsts meži” and the factors affecting them, also to make conclusions and proposals on them. Method of analysis of financial ratios is to compare and clarify reasons of what has affected the scope of the ratios. The main conclusion of the research is following: the key factor affecting the ratios is the price of timber. In the timber market it may vary significantly depending on demand and supply. If the price of the timber in the market is higher then JSC “Latvijas valsts meži” generates higher revenues.
