Fasetes un to lietošana zināšanu organizācijā
Zusammenfassung
Pētījums „Fasetes un to lietošana zināšanu organizācijā” veikts, lai izpētītu FAST sistēmas attīstību un tās lietošanas aspektus, kā arī ārvalstu bibliotēku pieredzi. Tika aplūkota arī zināšanu organizācijas nozīme informacionālajā vidē, kā arī fasetes un to lietošana klasifikācijā. Pētījuma teorētisko bāzi veido pragmatisms, hermeneitiskais aplis un domēna (darbības lauka) analīzes teorija. Pētījumā tika izmantota kvalitatīvā pētījuma stratēģija un metodes. Pētījumā tika sniegts FAST nosaukuma un terminu – ‘fasete’, ‘fasetpriekšmetošana’ un ‘fasešu priekšmetu termins’ skaidrojums latviešu valodā. Pētījumā tika noskaidroti un apkopoti ārvalstu pētnieku un bibliotēku ekspertu viedokļi par FAST sistēmu un tika secināts, ka tā ir tīmekļa tehnoloģijām atbilstoša tematiskās apstrādes sistēma, kurai ir gan ieguvumi, gan dažādi problēmaspekti. The research "Facets and their use in the Knowledge Organization" was conducted to explore the development of the FAST and its application aspects as well as the experience of foreign libraries. The role of a knowledge organization in the information environment as well as facets and their use in classification were also considered. The theoretical basis of the re-search consists of pragmatism, hermeneutic circle and domain analysis. The study used a quali-tative research strategy and methods. The study presented the FAST name and the term ‘facet’, ‘faceted subject indexing’ and ‘facet subject term’ in the Latvian language. The study clarified and summarized the views of foreign researchers and library experts on the FAST system and concluded that it is a web-based thematic processing system that has both benefits and different problems.
