Sociālais darbs ar alkohola lietotājiem un atkarīgajiem pašvaldības ilgstošās sociālās aprūpes institūcijās Rīgā

Abstract

Maģistra darba mērķis ir noskaidrot iespējamos alkolola lietošanas un atkarību problēmas mazināšanas risinājumus un institūciju darbības pilnveides iespējas, veicinot sociālā darba praksi RSAC (Rīgas sociālās aprūpes centrs) ar pilngadīgām personām. Sociālais darbs ar alkohola lietotājiem un atkarīgajiem analizēts izmantojot sociālo lomu teoriju un kognitīvi biheiviorālo teoriju. Darba gaitā autore veic RSAC klientu anketēšanu, 7 daļēji strukturētas intervijas ar RSAC sociālajiem darbiniekiem, 3 daļēji strukturētas intervijas ar RSAC sociālā darba nodaļu vadītājiem un 1 daļēji strukturētu interviju ar sociālā darba SAC ekspertu. RSAC sociālajiem darbiniekiem pastāv grūtības strādāt ar alkohola lietotājiem un atkarīgajiem klientiem, zināšanu un citu resursu trūkuma dēļ. Alkohola lietotājus un atkarīgos RSAC klientus ir grūti motivēt, tāpēc nereti vienīgais risinājums ir izslēgt šos klientus no institūcijas, balstoties uz iekšējās kārtības noteikumu pārkāpumiem.

The master’s thesis is aimed to find out the out possible solutions to reduce alcohol abuse and addiction and to improve the institution's performance by promoting the social work practice of the RSAC (Riga’s long term social care institutions) with adults. Social work with alcohol abusers and addicts is analyzed using social role theory and cognitive behaviour theory. During the course of the work, the author carries out RSAC customer surveys, 7 semi-structured interviews with RSAC social workers, 3 semi-structured interviews with RSAC social work managers and 1 semi-structured interview with the expert of social work in RSAC. Social workers of RSAC are having difficulties working with alcohol abusers and dependent clients, due to lack of knowledge and other resources. It is difficult to motivate alcohol abusers and dependent RSAC customers, so the only solution is to exclude these clients from the institution, based on violations of internal regulations.
