Ikonoklasms un tā piemēri 20. un 21. gadsimtā

Abstract

Izstrādātajā kvalifikācijas darbā par tēmu “Ikonoklasms un tā piemēri 20. un 21. gadsimtā” tiek apskatīti ikonoklasma veidi, par piemēru izmantojot dažus no 20. un 21. gadsimta precedentiem, kad kultūras mantojums ir materiālā veidā cietis konfliktu situācijās vai tā nozīme, vide un apstākļi ir tikuši mainīti. Darbā ir iekļautas ziņas par koncepta “ikonoklasms” rašanos Bizantijas impērijas laikā 8. un 9. gadsimtā, teoloģiskie pamatojumi ikonoklasmam un kā termins ir ticis pielāgots mākslas un sociālo zinātņu pētniecībā. Darba izstrādes laikā tika kosntatēti divi ikonoklasma veidi – pasīvais un aktīvais. Katrs veids tiek paskaidrots ar tam piederošiem apakštipiem un 20. un 21. gadsimta ikonoklasma piemēriem. Pētījums sastāv no 46 lappusēm. Tajā ir iekļauti divi attēli. Izstrādātais pētījums noder ikvienam interesentam un kalpo kā uzziņas materiāls padziļinātas izpētes turpināšanai.

The developed qualification work on the topic “Iconoclasm and its 20th and 21st century examples” examines types of iconoclasm, using some of the 20th and 21st century precedents when cultural heritage has been materially damaged or its meaning, environment or conditions has been changed. The work contains information on creation of the concept “iconoclasm” during 8th and 9th century Byzantine empire, theological reasons for iconoclasm, and how the term has been adapted in art and social sciences. During the development of the qualification work two types of iconoclasm were identified – passive and active. Each of them are explained with subsequent subtypes using some of the 20th and 21st century iconoclasm cases as examples. The study consists of 46 pages. It includes two photos. The conducted research is useful to anyone interested in the topic and serves as a reference material for any future in-depth research.
