Latvijas iesaistīšanās globālo vērtību ķēdēs

Abstract

Globālo vērtību ķēžu veicinošo darījumu un uzņēmumu, pētniecības un citu saistīto institūciju sadarbības formu attīstības stimulēšana starpvalstu līmenī ir viens no starptautiskās ekonomikas praksē atzītiem veidiem, kā stiprināt valstu un uzņēmumu globālo konkurētspēju, un veicināt inovatīvu produktu ar augstu pievienoto vērtību un darbības veidu attīstību. Starptautiskiem vērtību ķēžu darījumiem pasaulē tiek piešķirta arvien lielāka vērtība, īpaši veicinot starpvalstu sadarbību informācijas un komunikācijas tehnoloģiju nozarē. Maģistra darba mērķis ir noskaidrot tautsaimniecības attīstības tendences un starptautisko vērtību ķēžu lomu valsts konkurētspējas veicināšanā, un, pamatojoties uz starptautisko organizāciju apkopotajiem tirdzniecības datiem, sniegt alternatīvu iespēju uzņēmumu starptautisko darījumu vērtību ķēdēs potenciāla un valsts konkurētspējas palielināšanai. Pētījuma rezultāti liecina, ka Latvijas tautsaimniecībai ir raksturīga salīdzinoši vāja iesaiste starptautisko vērtību ķēžu darījumos un zemas investīcijas uzņēmumu inovāciju snieguma palielināšanai. Tādējādi tiek mazinātas Latvijas uzņēmumu eksporta potenciāla iespējas un valsts konkurētspējas pozīcijas globālajā pasaules tirgū. Līdz ar to uzņēmumu starptautisko vērtību ķēžu darījumu veidošanai un to atbalstam ir jākļūst par vienu no Latvijas tautsaimniecības attīstības prioritātēm. Stimulating the development of the global value chains deals and cooperation between companies, research and other related institutions at transnational level is one of the way recognized by international economic practice, how to strengthen the global competitiveness of the countries and companies and to promote the development of innovative products with high added value and activities. The aim of the Master paper thesis is to find out the trends of the national economy development and the role of international value chains in promoting competitiveness of the country, and, based on trade data collected by international organizations, to give an alternative potential options for the companies in the international deals at the global value chains, to increase the competitiveness of the country. The results of the research shows that the Latvian economy is characterized by relatively weak involvement in the international value chains operations and low investment to boost the companies innovation performance. That way this reduces the possibilities of Latvian export potential and the country's competitive position in the global global market. Consequently, the formation of companies in the international value chains and their support should become one of the priorities for the development of the Latvian economy.
