Teorētiskajā daļā tiek analizētas D. Dzinteres, D. Markus, I. Miltiņas, G. Svences, I. Stangaines u.c. autoru atziņas par valodu, runu un to nozīmi bērnu attīstībā un turpmākajā dzīvē. The theme of Bachelor work is: Promotion of 2-3 years old children’s speech development through games. Author of the work: Lauma Ārente. The objective of study: explore the possibilities of extending the 2-3years old children's vocabulary through the games. Speech is one of main human skills. Each child it develops differently – for somebody more quickly and easily, for other – slower. This is the reason why it is essentially for adults to know and understand how it is possible to help child’s speech to develop and improve by carrying out daily exercises, including them unnoticed in games. The Bachelor work consists of two parts – theoretical part and empirical part. Cognitions of authors D.Dzintara, D.Markus, I.Miltiņa, G.Svence, I.Stagaine et al. about language, speech and its meaning in children’s development and further life are analyzed within the theoretical part of Bachelor’s work. The specific features of the 2-3 years children’s development and development of speech are provided, as well as conditions of successful development of speech in mentioned age analyzed. The methodological characteristic of the survey and criteria of speech development evaluation are provided within the empirical part of the Bachelor’s work. The assessment of children's speech in the study group is reflected in the beginning and end of the empirical study. Obtained results are analyzed and reflected in tables and charts. Conclusions reached at the end of the study about what is essential for promoting the development of children's speech. Recommendations are made to help promote the development of child speech in teaching activities. The volume of Bachelor’s work: 63 pages, 6 attachments, 2 images, 7 tables and 41 sources of literature. Key words: speech, 2-3 years old children, game.
