Šajā pētījumā tiek izvērtētas Azerbaidžānas un Eiropas Savienības (ES) divpusējās attiecības. Pētījuma autore analizējusi šo attiecību daudzpusību, kas izpaužas tādās sfērās kā ekonomika, enerģētika, tirdzniecība un politika. Šis pētījums arī uzsver virkni ES pieņemtu politiku, kas saistītas ar Azerbaidžānu, tostarp Eiropas kaimiņattiecību politiku un Austrumu Partnerības programmu. Autore izmantojusi arī empīrisko analīzi, lai izvērtētu cik ciešas ir Azerbaidžānas un ES ekonomiskās un tirdzniecības saites. Ar teorētisku un analītisku pētījumu vērtēta Eiropas Kaimiņattiecību politikas rīcības plāna īstenošana Azerbaidžānā. Autore salīdzinājusi galvenos ekonomiskos statistikas datus starp Eiropas Savienību un tās Austrumu partnerības valstīm. Pētījumā analizētas ES un Azerbaidžānas abpusējo attiecību nākotnes iespējas, iekļaujot nozares profesionāļu viedokļu apskopojumu, kas iegūti ekspertu aptaujā. Šis pētījums izceļas ar to, ka tajā ir izvērtēti vairāki ES un Azerbaidžānas abpusējās sadarbības aspekti. Pētījuma mērķis ir parādīt Azerbaidžānas un ES perspektīvas uzturot divpusējas attiecības. This research is evaluation of bilateral Relations between Azerbaijan and the European Union. The author has analysed multidimensional aspects of mutual relations between Azerbaijan and the European Union such as economic, energy, trade and political. This research also emphasizes range of policies adopted by European Union toward Azerbaijan, namely European Neighborhood Policy and Eastern Partnership Program. Author also uses empirical analysis for evaluating degree of economic and trade relation between Azerbaijan and the European Union. Theoretical and analytical research is made on implementation of the European Neighborhood Policy Action Plan for Azerbaijan. In addition to this, author uses statistical comparison of several economic indicators of European Union with its Eastern Partnership countries. Author discusses future perspectives of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and the European Union by use of expert survey of professionals in the field. This research is distinctive in its discussion of several aspects of mutual cooperation between Azerbaijan and the European Union. The purpose of this study is to show future perspectives of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and the European Union.
