Šī bakalaura darba mērķis bija noskaidrot, kādas saistības pastāv starp depresiju, trauksmi un stresu, emociju regulāciju un humora stiliem jaunajām māmiņām bērna pirmajā dzīves gadā. 75 sievietes vecumā no 21 līdz 46 gadiem aizpildīja trīs aptaujas: Emociju regulācijas aptauju (Gross & John, 2003), Humora stilu aptauju (Martin et al., 2003), Depresijas, trauksmes, stresa aptauju (Lovibond & Lovibond, 1995). The aim of the present bachelor thesis was to explore the relationship between depression, anxiety stress, emotion regulation, and humor styles for new mothers during the first year postpartum. 75 women, aged 21 to 46, completed the Emotion Regulation Questionnaire (Gross & John, 2003), The Humor Styles Questionnaire (Martin et al., 2003), and Depression Anxiety Stress Scale – 21 Item (Lovibond & Lovibond, 1995). The results revealed the essential role of self-enhancing and affiliative humor styles and the limitation of emotion suppression in new mothers’ psychological well-being. Moreover, the use of the cognitive reappraisal was negatively associated with stress. Self-defeating humor style has shown no correlations. Key words: depression, anxiety, stress, emotion regulation, humor styles, new mothers.
