Pētījumā logopēdiskajā koriģējoši attīstošajā darbībā ar 6 sākumskolas skolēniem atklāta modelēšanas metodes izmantošanas iespējas saistītās runas attīstīšanai, jo īpaši aprakstošo stāstījumu veidošanā. Pēc veiktā korekcijas darba skolēniem ievērojami uzlabojas stāstījumu patstāvība, secīgums un pilnīgums. Iegūtie rezultāti ļāva apstiprināt hipotēzi: 1.- 2. klašu skolēni ar valodas sistēmas nepietiekamu attīstību veiksmīgāk apgūs prasmi veidot aprakstošus stāstījumus, ja: skolotājs logopēds koriģējoši attīstošajā darbībā sistemātiski izmantos modelēšanas metodi; tiks ņemtas vērā skolēnu vecuma un attīstības īpatnības. Darba noslēgumā izstrādātas rekomendācijas logopēdiem par modelēšanas metodes izmantošanas iespējām saistītās runas attīstīšanai, kas piešķir dotajam darbam praktisku nozīmīgumu. Key words: primary school students, developmental language disorder or DLD, connected speech, descriptive narratives, modeling, speech and language therapy Master Thesis is designed to study a method of modeling descriptive narratives for the 1st and 2nd grades students with developmental language disorderwith its further effective application in speech therapists’ corrective work. The study reveals speech therapists’corrective work with 6 primary school students, the possibilities of using the modeling method to develop connected speech, especially in the production of descriptive narratives. After the corrective work, the students were observed to greatly improveself-sufficiency, sequence and completeness of their narratives.The obtained results confirmed the hypothesis: 1st and 2nd grades students with developmental language disorder will be better able to produce descriptive narratives if: a teacher speech therapist systematically applies the modeling method in their corrective work; the peculiarities of students’ age and development are taken into account. In the conclusion of this Master Thesis, recommendations for speech therapists on the possibilities of using the modeling method for developing connected speech are given, which adds practical significance to the whole paper.
