Kopējais darba lappušu skaits: 57. lpp The Adaptation Period in form 1 is essential as it has a direct connection with the development of attitudes towards school and learning, and is a prerequisite for good learning. When a child becomes a student, they are feeling emotional tension because of the changing environment, therefore the task of the teacher is to make the process easier. In the study, the author found out that if a teacher carries out various activities that help students socialize with each other, as well as help them understand the requirements of the school through different activities, the adaptation period is more successful. Keywords: adaptation, socialization, adaptation.
