Abstract

Kvalifikācijas darba “E-komercijas platformas Magento2 paplašinājums “Biežāk uzdotie jautājumi”” mērķis ir izstrādāt dokumentācijas bāzi paplašinājuma moduļa izveidei vienai no populārākajām atvērtā pirmkoda e-komercijas platformām Magento. Moduļa “Biežāk uzdotie jautājumi” nolūks ir apkopot noderīgu informāciju par dažādiem ar uzņēmumu darbību saistītiem jautājumiem, kas varētu palīdzēt mājaslapas lietotājiem labāk izprast dažādas neskaidras tēmas. Modulis sniegs iespēju lietotājam uzdot konkrētu tam interesējošu jautājumu, savukārt administratora spēkos būs šo jautājumu apstiprināt un uz to atbildēt, tādejādi sniedzot arī citiem lietotājiem iespēju atrast atbildi uz šo jautājumu uzņēmuma mājaslapā, vai arī jautājumu noraidīt. Kvalifikācijas darba paredzamais rezultāts ir skaidra, viegli lietojama dokumentācija, kas palīdzētu pasūtītājiem un lietotājiem izprast lietotnes būtību un funkcionalitāti, kā arī kalpotu par rokasgrāmatu izstrādātājiem, kas veic tehnisko lietotnes izveidi. Izveidotā dokumentācija satur ievadu un vispārēju programmas aprakstu, kā arī programmatūras prasību specifikāciju, kas sevī iekļauj moduļa funkcionālās prasības, un programmatūras projektējuma aprakstu, kas ietver datu bāzu, funkciju un saskarņu projektējumu.

The aim of qualification paper ““Frequently asked questions” extension for the eCommerce platform Magento2” is to develop a documentation base for an extension module that could be used with one of the most popular open source eCommerce platforms in the world Magento. The purpose of the module “Frequently asked questions” is to gather useful information about different topics of the operation of a business that could help the users and customers of this business’ homepage to understand unclear questions. This module provides a way for the users to ask a specific question to the business and means for the administrator to manage these questions by answering to them and approving questions so that they would become visible to other homepage users for further reference. The administrator is also able to deny questions if found inappropriate. The predictable outcome of this qualification paper is an understandable and easy to use documentation that could help the business owners to understand the essence of this functionality as well as to serve as a manual for the developers that perform the technical development of the system. This documentation contains an introduction and a general overview of the system as well as the software requirements specification describing the functional requirements of different system modules. Software design description which is included as the last part of this paper, describes the design of database, functions and interfaces.
