Glaciotektoniskās struktūras Jaunkalnu atradnē

Abstract

Bakalaura darba “Glaciotektoniskās struktūras Jaunkalnu atradnē” mērķis ir pētījumu teritorijā sastopamo glaciotektonisko struktūru veidošanās apstākļu noteikšana, izmantojot lauka kamerālos pētījumus. Tika veikti lauka pētījumi, kuros ir dokumentēti 7 glaciotektonisko struktūru atsegumi un veikti šo struktūru elementu mērījumi, kā arī 4 atsegumos tika veikti oļu garenasu linearitātes mērījumi. Kamerālo darbu ietvaros tika rekonstruēti kroku šarnīru vērsumi un oļu garenasu linearitātes diagrammas, pēc kuriem tika interpretēti maksimālā sprieguma virzieni. Rezultātā secināts, ka mērījumi parāda maksimālā sprieguma virzienu, kurš aptuveni sakrīt ar ledāja kustības virzienu vēlā Vislas apledojuma deglaciācijas laikā.

The main objective of the bachelor’s thesis “Glaciotectonic structures in the Jaunkalni quarry” is to identify the conditions that made all the glaciotectonic structures in the research area using data obtained from various field works. During the field work, 7 outcrops of glaciotectonic structures were documented and measurements of the main structure elements were made. In addition, measurements of longitudinal axis of pebbles in till were made at 4 different locations in the quarry. In the cameral section of the work, reconstructions of fold hinge directions and pebble longitudinal axis linearity were made using specific diagrams. The potential structure creating strain direction was drawn from these diagrams. In the end, conclusions were drawn that the data shows strain directions that correspond with the direction of the glacier movement at late Weichselian deglaciation event.
