Mūsdienās arvien biežāk tiek ziņots par grūtniecībām ar smagām komplikācijām – spontānais aborts, mazs bērna ķermeņa svars, priekšlaicīgas dzemdības, bērna aptaukošanās un dažādas grūtniecības laikā izraisītās slimības. Galvenie iemesli ir nepareizi izvēlētu uztura bagātinātāju un medikamentu lietošana, to nelietošana atbilstoši ārsta vai farmaceita ieteikumiem, vieglprātīga izturēšanās pret organismu grūtniecības laikā. Darba mērķis ir izpētīt uztura bagātinātāju grūtniecēm piedāvājumu aptiekās un salīdzināt to sastāvu ar ginekologu, ģimenes ārstu un farmaceitu ieteikumiem. Praktiskajā daļā tiek analizēts ārstu, farmaceitu, grūtnieču viedoklis par uztura bagātinātāju nepieciešamību un lietošanu. Secināts, ka mūsdienās uztura bagātinātāji un medikamenti bieži netiek lietoti atbilstoši ārsta vai farmaceita ieteikumiem, bet grūtnieču informētība par riskiem un ietekmi uz bērnu – palielinās. Nowadays, severe complications are increasingly reported in pregnant women – spontaneous abortion, low birth weight of child, premature labour, child obesity and various diseases caused during pregnancy. The main reasons for this are the use of incorrectly chosen dietary supplements and medications, not using them according to the doctor's or pharmacist's recommendations, careless treatment of the body during pregnancy. The aim of the study is to investigate the offer of food supplements for pregnant women in pharmacies and compare the composition with recommendations of gynecologists, family doctors and pharmacists. In the practical part analysis the opinion of doctors, pharmacists, pregnant women about the necessity and use of food supplements. It is concluded that food supplements and medicines are often not used in accordance with the advice of a doctor or pharmacist, but the awareness of pregnant women about the risks and impact on the child is increasing.
