Ziemeļkorejas ekonomiskās attiecības un to ietekme uz politiskajām attiecībām

Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma ir Ziemeļkorejas ekonomiskās attiecības un to ietekme uz politiskajām attiecībām. Šī bakalaura darba ietvaros tiek pētītas Ziemeļkorejas bilateriālās ekonomiskās attiecības ar Ķīnu, Krieviju un Indiju, kā arī tiek apskatīts, vai ar ekonomisko partnerību ir iespējams ietekmēt Ziemeļkorejas politisko rīcību. Darba teorētiskajā sadaļā tiek aplūkotas savstarpējās atkarības attiecības no starptautiskās politekonomijas perspektīvas. Darba mērķis ir noskaidrot Ķīnas, Krievijas un Indijas spējas izmantot ekonomiskās attiecības ar Ziemeļkoreju, lai ietekmētu tās politisko rīcību no 2008. gada līdz 2018. gadam. Darbā tiek izvirzīts pētnieciskais jautājums: kādai ir jābūt ekonomiskajai bilaterālajai sadarbībai, lai Ķīna, Krievija un Indija caur to spētu ietekmēt Ziemeļkorejas politisko rīcību? Attiecīgi hipotēze ir, ka ekonomiskajai sadarbībai starp valstīm ir jābūt nozīmīgākai Ziemeļkorejai, nekā Ķīnai, Krievijai vai Indijai. Veicot analīzi, tiek secināts, ka savstarpējās atkarības attiecībās starp Ziemeļkoreju un Ķīnu, Krieviju un Indiju ir nepieciešams veidot beznosacījumu ilgtermiņa sadarbību gan ekonomiski, gan politiski, lai būtu iespējams ietekmēt valsts politisko rīcību.

The theme of this bachelor thesis is North Korea’s economic relations and their influence on the political relations. This bachelor's thesis studies North Korea's bilateral economic relations with China, Russia, and India, as well as whether it is possible to influence the political behaviour of North Korea with economic cooperation. The theoretical part of the thesis discusses the relationships of interdependence from the perspective of the international political economy. The aim of this research is to determine if China, Russia and India are able to use economic relations with North Korea to influence its political action from 2008 to 2018. The research question is what kind of economical bilateral cooperation should exist so that China, Russia and India can influence North Korea's political behaviour through it? The hypothesis is that the bilateral economic cooperation between countries should be more important for North Korea than for China, Russia or India. The analysis concludes that there is a need to establish unconditional long-term cooperation between North Korea and China, Russia, and India, both economically and politically, in order to be able to influence a country's political action.
