Bakalaura darbs “Latvijas Nacionālā simfoniskā orķestra un Latvijas Nacionālās operas un baleta ārējās komunikācijas aktivitāšu novērtējums” izstrādāts ar mērķi noskaidrot kāda veida papildu komunikācija un līdzšinējās mārketinga komunikācijas uzlabojumi motivētu jauniešus apmeklēt LNSO un LNOB pasākumus. Teorētisko pamatu veido teorija par mārketinga komunikācijas veidiem, integrētā mārketinga komunikāciju, mārketingu kultūras nozarē, sociālajiem tīkliem, patērētāju uzvedību un jauniešu auditoriju. Teorētiskajā daļā izmantoti tādu autoru kā Filipa Kotlera (Philip Kotler), Krisa Fila (Chris Fill), Džeroma Makartija (Jerom McCarthy) un citu autoru darbiem. Darba pētnieciskajā daļā noskaidroti 1) komunikācijas kanāli, kurus LNSO un LNOB izmanto ārējās komunikācijas veikšanai jauniešu auditorijai un noskaidrots, kuru organizācijas pārstāvji uzskata par efektīvāko jauniešu auditorijas sasniegšanai; 2) kanāli, kurus jaunieši izmanto informācijas iegūšanai par aktuālajiem kultūras pasākumiem; 3) faktori, kas jauniešus motivē apmeklēt LNSO un LNOB pasākumus un tie, kas attur no šo pasākumu apmeklēšanas; 4) organizāciju sociālo tīklu kontu satura un formāta atbilstība organizācijas mērķiem un jauniešu interesēm. The Bachelor’s thesis “Evaluation of Latvian National Symphony Orchestra and Latvian National Opera and Ballet external communication” has been developed with the aim to find out what kind of additional communication and improvement of the previous marketing communication motivates young people to attend LNSO and LNOB events. Theoretical background is formed by the theory of marketing communication types, integrated marketing communication, marketing in the cultural sector, social networks, consumer behavior and youth audience. The theoretical part uses works by authors such as Philip Kotler, Chris Fill, Jerom McCarthy and other authors. The research part of the thesis helps to find out 1) the communication channels used by the LNSO and LNOB to conduct external communication to the youth audience and to find out which communication channels the representatives of the organization consider to be the most effective for reaching the youth audience; 2) communication channels used by young people to obtain information on current cultural events; 3) factors that motivate young people to attend LNSO and LNOB events and those who discourage attending these events; 4) the correspondence of the content and format of the organizations' social network accounts to the objectives of the organization and the interests of young people.
