Satura veidošana digitālās kompetences pilnveidošanai 10. klasē

Abstract

Digitālā kompetence ir viena no astoņām pamatprasmēm mūžiglītībai, ko formulējusi ES, tā ir balstīta uz IKT fundamentālajiem aspektiem. Lai spētu būt konkurētspējīgi mūsdienu sabiedrībā, skolēniem ir jābūt digitāli iekļautiem. Latvijai kā valstij ar ierobežotiem cilvēku resursiem ir jāspēj garantēt, ka katrs pilsonis ir digitāli spējīgs, lai valsts spētu funkcionēt. Angļu valoda un digitālā kompetence ir ideāla kombinācija priekš skolēniem digitālās vides uzlabošanai. Diplomdarba mērķis bija izpētīt, kā digitālā satura radīšana angļu valodas stundās var uzlabot digitālo kompetenci. Gadījuma izpēte tika izvēlēts kā pētniecības metode, tās rezultātā tika secināts, ka ir nepieciešams līdzsvars starp saturu un uz tehnoloģijām balstītu pieeju, lai garantētu, ka skolēni apgūst priekšmeta saturu un attīsta reālas digitālās prasmes.

Digital competence is one of the eight basic skills for lifelong learning formulated by EU legislation and it is based on fundamental aspects of ICT. In modern society for students to be competitive in the labour market they have to be digitally included. Latvia, as a country with limited human resources need to gurantee that every citizen is digitally inteligent in order to keep the country functioning. English language and digital competence are an ideal combination for learners to improve in digital environment. The aim of the Diploma Paper was to examine how digital content creation in EFL lessons could be provided to improve digital competence. A case study was the chosen method of research. It was concluded that a balance between content and technology-centred approaches is necessary to ensure that students learn subject content and develop true digital media skills.
