Liberālo un konservatīvo politisko vērtību skalu adaptācija un aprobācija: Latvijas gadījums

Abstract

Politiskajai ideoloģijai spēj būt ietekme uz indivīda domāšanas, rīcības un attieksmes noteikšanu. To var uztvert kā multidisciplināru tēmu, kas tiek plaši aplūkota ar dažādiem fokusiem no sociālo un humanitāro zinātņu perspektīvām. Pastāv dažādas metodes kā politiskā ideoloģija tiek mērīta. Tāpēc šī darba mērķis ir izstrādāt validētu instrumentāriju liberālisma – konservatīvisma mērīšanai Latvijas gadījumam. Pētījumā tiek aplūkoti teorētiskie avoti, kuros tiek skaidrotas politiskās ideoloģijas un metodes ar kurām tās mēra. Bāze instrumentārija izstrādei ir izglītības psihologa Freda Kerlingera izstrādātā metode liberālisma – konservatīvisma mērīšanai. Šajā darbā tiek atklāts kā veikt kvantitatīvu validācijas pētījumu un kādas metodes tiek pielietotas validācijas pierādīšanai.

Political ideology can have a impact on determining the individual's thinking, action and attitudes. It can be seen as a multi-disciplinary theme, which is widely addressed with a variety of focal points from the perspective of social sciences and humanities. There are different methods of how political ideology is measured. Therefore, the aim of this work is to develop a validated instrumentary for measuring liberalism – conservatism in the case of Latvia. The study looks at theoretical sources explaining political ideologies and methods by which they are measured. The basis for developing the instrumentary is the method developed by educational psychologist Fred Kerlinger to measure liberalism – conservatism. This work reveals how to conduct a quantitative validation study and what methods are used to demonstrate validation.
