Latvijas iedzīvotāju politiskā līdzdalība internetā

Abstract

Bakalaura darba “Latvijas iedzīvotāju politiskā līdzdalība internetā” mērķis ir izpētīt un novērtēt, kā izpaužas Latvijas iedzīvotāju politiskā līdzdalība internetā. Pētījuma pamatuzdevumi ir: 1) noskaidrot, kādas ar politisko līdzdalību sasitītas darbības iedzīvotāji veic interneta vidē; 2) noteikt un salīdzināt dažādu sociālo grupu politiskās līdzdalības līmeni; 3) noteikt un salīdzināt ar kādām vērtībām sevi saista Latvijas iedzīvotāji, kādas politiskās līdzdalības aktivitātes veic saskaņā ar savām vērtībām. Darba teorētiskā ietvara veidošanā tika izmantots Verbas, Bredija un Šlozmanes brīvprātīgā pilsoniskuma modelis. Bakalaura darba empīriskajā pētījumā tika veikta tiešsaistes aptauja. Bakalaura darbā tika noskaidrots, ka nepastāv atšķirību respondentu interneta politiskās līdzdalības līmenī, interneta līdzdalības aktivitāšu klāstā dažādu vecuma grupu griezumā, nepastāv statistiski nozīmīga saistība starp respondentu izglītības un līdzdalības līmeni, nepastāv statistiski nozīmīga saistība starp respondentu vērtīborientāciju un interneta politiskās līdzdalības līmeni.

The title of the bachelor thesis is “Political Participation of Latvian Residents on the Internet”. The aim of the bachelor thesisis to explore and assess how the political participation of Latvian residents on the Internet is expressed. The basic tasks of the study are: (1) to clarify what type of activity residents perform in the Internet environment, which is related to political participation; (2) to determine and compare the level of political participation of different social groups; 3) to determine and compare the values that Latvian citizens associate themselves with, as well as which political participation activities they are carrying out in accordance with their values. The theoretical framework of the work was based on the voluntary citizenship model of Verba, Brady, Schlozmann. An online survey was conducted in the empirical study of the bachelor's work. It was established that there is no difference in the level of political participation of respondents and in the range of Internet participation activities in different age groups; no statistically significant relationship between the level of education and participation of respondents; no statistically significant relationship between the political values of respondents and the level of political participation in internet.
